-R focus-
She walked out of the cave and followed a hidden trail, not know the zeta had disobeyed. She followed it until she found a waterfall with a little lake sort of thing at the bottom.Zara watched as R swam in the lake. R swam under the waterfall and to a cave behind it.
R shoke the water off of her fur once inside the cave. "I thought you might come." A familiar wolf says to R. She walks up the other black wolf inside the cave and rubs her fur against his. "Good to see you again." She says back using a warm, pleasant tone. She lays down beside him, enjoying his warmth while it lasted.
"I saw your little friend that followed you. Who is he?" He asks her. "He followed me?" She says. He nods. She swims back to shore and looks around.
The zeta wasn't here, so she returned to the cave where she found the zeta. "Did you follow me?" She asks. "N-no." Zara says frantically. "Then what did you do in here?" R continues questioning. "A mouse came in here and I played with it a little." Zara says for an excuse, though it was not a lie. "Oh really?"
"I rarely get mice in here." R says. "Well I guess it got lost." Zara shrugs. "I'm serious. Did you follow me?" R asks again, but in a sharper tone. Zara's ears droop and he is filled with guilt. "Y-Yes." He says, ashamed. R lowers her head. "How could you-"
"But I didn't mean to." He says frantically. "I trusted you, but I see that was a mistake." R says. Zara whimpers, remembering his frightful past. "I'm s-sorry." He apologizes. "Leave." She orders. He leaves.
She followed her parents to the new, deadly pack. "Mother?" She called out. Her mother hummed I'm response. "Isn't it dangerous at this pack?" She asked. Her mother nodded. "Than why are we going here?" She asked.
Her mother stopped. She turned around to face R. "There are some things that need to be done and things you can't understand. Ok?" She said. R nodded. "Karma told me something and it lead me to this pack so I have to accept this fate." Her mother said.
They continued walking and finally arrive. R immediately finds herself enjoying this pack. She found a wolf that treated her right. A black coated beta.
"Grey!" She called out to him one day. "R!" He smiled. She runs toward him, stopping right in front of him. "I missed you." She said and rubbed her fur against his. "I missed you too." He responded.
"Listen R." He said, his tone more serious. "I just got news that a neighboring pack is going to attack." He said to her. Her eyes widen.
"What are we going to do?" She asked. "Come with me and we'll hide." Grey said to her. She nods. "Wait, I have to tell my parents." She said. "No we can't." Grey said. "Why?" She asked and tilted her head.
"There are somethings that have to be done and things you can't understand." He said to her. She nodded. "When are they coming?" She asked. "Who?" He asked.
"The attacking pack." She responded. "Now." He said, causing more shock for R. She followed him to a lake and under a waterfall, to a cave. They could see through the water to the forest, where wolves started running toward their pack.
She watched as her pack got torn apart by the other.
Once the chamotion started to die down, they left the cave. The attackers had left already. R ran around, searching for her family, screaming their names.
Then she found them. Their bodies layed limp on the ground. They were no more than clumps of flesh and bone.
Her eyes teared up. She started to cry. Grey came to her side and comforted her.
"My mother said K-Karma told h-her something." She choked. "Karma told her that they would die here." She said looking into Grey's eyes. Her eyes sparkled from the tears.
"It's okay." He said soothingly. "I'm here." He said. "I'll always be there for you."
