Wolves

Chapter 4

-Zara focus-
It started to rain heavily, so the cave started to get cold. Zara started to shiver so R called him over to her side and Zara did as he was told.

"Are you hungry?" R asked once it had stopped raining. Zara's stomach growled. He blushed and nodded.

They exit the cave. "You go that way, all go this way." R says gesturing in different directions. "Meet back at the cave." She adds. Zara nods and they part ways.

Zara walked until he heard rustling in a bush. He smelled prey.

-Karma's point of view-
The rain stopped.

"Are you hungry?" I ask Vins once she woke. She nods. She followed me back around the river and to a strawberry field. She ate happily and quickly.

"Don't choke." I warn her. "I-" She coughs. She keeps coughing until the piece of strawberry logged in her throat came out.

"What the fuck?" She swears. "You jinxed it." She says to me.

"No I didn't." I laugh. Then I see something again.

A black wolve, larger than I was, separates from a smaller wolf. The smaller continues to where it was going and finds a rabbit. It pounces and suddenly, bars are put around it.

Then I was back at the field. "We have to find Zara." I say quickly and start running in Zara's direction. Vins follows after me. "I'm going to go faster, catch up if you can." I say to her and pick up my pace, going as fast as I can.

I spot Zara, getting ready to pounce. "NO!! DON'T!!!" I yell out to him.

-R focus-
R walked and found deer, two. She going to attack, but her gut told her to go find the zeta.

She turned around and ran toward him. She heard someone yell and saw the zeta and the rogue running toward him.

-Zara focus-
He pounced on the rabbit and something shut above him.

He looked around and found himself trapped, inside a cage. He walked around inside the cage but found no way out. He charged at the cage, hoping to make a dent to get out but failed, only injuring himself instead.

-Karma's point of view-
I was too late to stop Zara from getting caught. He got caught in a trap set, by a human.

The human came over to the cage. I backed away, knowing how dangerous a human was, but Vins charged at it.

It raised the shotgun it held in its left hand and shot. It missed, only scraping Vins' side. She winced and backed away. My ears rang, the sound so loud. I heard something from beside me and something flashed.

R pounced and bite it's hand, making it drop the gun. Vins jumped on the human, biting it's neck, killing it.

I headed toward the cage and found the door. Zara struggled inside. "Stop." I say to him. "I'll get out out."

I stand on my hind legs and press against the thing keeping the door in place. "Go." I tell him.

Suddenly my eyes tear up. "Why now?" I mutter to myself. I wait until Zara is out and run away.

-Vins focus-
The human fell with a thud. Vins turned and saw Karma run away. Zara was out. Vins walked over to him.

"Where'd Karma just go?" She asks him. Zara shrugs. "She just ran off." Zara says. R walks over to the two.

"Let's go." R says and starts walking.. Zara picks up the rabbit and follows R. Vins doesn't follow. "Aren't you coming?" R asks looking back. Vins shakes her head. "I'm going to try and find Karms." She says. "Okay suit yourself." R says and turns back around and starts walking again.

Vins ran toward the cave they stayed at. She looked inside but it was empty. She layed down and waited, hoping that Karma would come back.

-Zara focus-
He carried the rabbit in his mouth as they walked. "What are going to do with that? It's not enough for the both of us." R says. "I know." Zara responds with the rabbit still in his mouth.

"I'm giving this to you and I'll get another one." He says. "No you can keep it." R says. They argue about who gets it until R offers something. "I found deer, why not get that instead?" She says. Zara nods sure.

After hunting the deer, they return to the cave.

I didn't write about the hunt sorry. My fingers are tired since I wrote another chapter before this.
