Fea

Drip, drip, drip. The water seeping in from the hole in the roof sounded annoyingly. Getting up I decide to explore. There is no use in sleeping. Today was just a jumble of confusion.  It doesn't feel real I think to myself while stepping over girls and boys in sleeping bags.
The pod dropped us off somewhere in the mountains. The soldiers led us to this small remote village inside the valley of the mountains. All the houses were made from wood and most of them looked like they could fall through at any second.
Walking in and following the soldiers I could feel the heat of peoples eyes watching us. Finally we reached the only stone building in the center of the village. It looked like some sort of abandoned commercial building.
Following the soldiers inside, goosebumps arose on my arms from the coldness. The first room was filled with people and computers and maps and all that. The second room took a little while to get there; passing through narrow dimly lit halls. It looked like the cafeteria. Tables were lined up with chairs, and it look there was a kitchen on the other side of the room.
Finally the third room. The soldiers stopped and turned around. The one I talked to earlier stepped forward. "This will be your living area". He says." Some of you will sleep on the bunks and then some of you will have to sleep on the floor. Half the bunks are already taken by the others here".
There was a silent pause for a minute. "You may pick your spots. When the clock-" he says pointing to a small clock that is lined up on the other side of the room;that has room for 24 zeros. "-has 18 zeros go to the cafeteria. You will be fed and stocked with supplies that you will need".
"You may now pick your area."he says while walking off back down the hallway the other two soldiers trailing behind.
The room was silent. Everybody was looking around. Suddenly a girl with blonde hair looking fourteen-ish walks up to a bunk and climbs up laying down. Soon after that everybody follows, finding their own spots and talking with confusion and excitement. I quickly make my way over to the blonde girl's bunk.
"You mind if I bunk with you". I ask her awkwardly. She sat up and looked down at me. Waiting for her to say yes I held my breath. After what felt like an hour she looked down at the bunk beneath me and then up at me. Shrugging she lays back down.
"I will take that as a yes I guess". I say sitting down on the bed. Looking around everybody had found someone to talk to or whisper to. I felt awkward. I would talk to mystery girl but she didn't seem like much of a talker so I just waited laying down and watching the clock.
Starting to have flash backs, I braces myself.

Sitting at home waiting for my unit number 2 to come home was always stressful. All units were assigned two leaders in it. One adult male, unit number one, and one adult female, unit number two. My unit one's name is terry and my unit two's name is willow. Unit number 1 was already home sitting on the couch watching television. The news was board-casting about how some of the rebels for the defiance had ambushed a train and took some of the prisoners. This was their third attempt and they were finally successful. I sat at the kitchen table watching the clock reach another zero. Willow was late, again. "Hey terry." I say getting up. "What's up"? He replies looking over at me.
"Should I still set the table for willow"?
Terry looked at me with a look of, is that even a question. "No. She is never here for dinner time nor will she ever be. Don't bother. You can  just make yourself something to eat for dinner tonight again "he says then turns back to watch the news. I walk towards the kitchen make a sandwich and head down the hall to my quarter. A plan light blue room with a twin bed and a desk with books for school. I lay on my bed watching my clock dreading the time when she will get home.
Zeros later I here the door slam shut. I stop breathing. The clank of her heels gets closer to my room. Each clank my heart sinks more. I close my eyes and act asleep. Maybe if she thinks I'm sleeping she won't bug me I think. My door opens slowly. "FEALICITY!" She shouts. I flinch and slowly open my eyes and look at her. She is hovering over me. "Hello sweetheart"she says, her breath smelling like whiskey. "Hi." I reply.
"Did you make dinner tonight?"
"No ma'am."
"Why?"
"Because you weren't home."
"Oh well thank you for waiting up for me. Now go make supper!" She screams grabbing me by my wrist and throwing me out the door. Looking at the clock it is now 23 zeros. It's almost the next day, but I don't dare say anything. After I finish making her a sandwich and giving it to her I go to bed. I here the TV turn on and her mumbling to herself. Tonight could of gone a lot worse I thought and was thankful it didn't. I look up at the clock as it turned to 24 zeros. It's a new day. Then I close my eyes.

Finally when the eighteenth zero hit I stood up stretching. Starting to walk forward a blur of blonde swoops over my head landing in  front of me. "Damn!" I say as my bunk buddy stands up from her leap and starts walking towards the cafeteria with everyone else.
At the cafeteria we ate half decent food and then was supplied with with clothes, hygiene stuff, and a number to use a ID for being a part of the rebellion.  After this we all went to bed and now I'm walking down the halls of the building.
When I get down the first hall I stop, it was a three way hall. Deciding to go left I find myself in some sort of library. There was couches in the center. Walking down the rows of books I feel uneasy. Looking around my neck started to tingle, like little tiny needles; the feeling that someone is watching me. Turning to go to the next aisle I brace myself. "Boo!". Someone yells. "Damnit!" I yell and then look to see who my spook-er was. The blondey ,my bunk partner, mystery girl . She smiles at me "Gotcha."
