  V

     She jumped back in surprise. Smiling at her I grab her by her hand and start leading her out of the library and down halls.
"Woah, where are we going" she whisper yells trying to keep up with me.
Finally after a minute of walking we arrive. The water lightly sprays onto my face. Looking at the girl; her eyes were filled with awe and wonderment.
It was a a small cavern, fourteen feet wide. Water was pouring from the ceiling falling into a crack at the bottom of the chasm.
"Wow,it's beautiful"the girl says lifting her hand up to feel the water.  I smile " Just wait"I say looking up. On cue the sun started to rise and it seeped through the crack reflecting into the water. Rainbows cast all around the cavern and onto the girl. I smiled at her. Looking back she gives me an confused grin.
"What?"she says pulling me out of my gaze.
"Nothing" I reply returning my gaze back on the dancing rainbows.
" You never told me your name?" The girl beside me asks.
"V, and I know your name. Your Fea, the girl who spoke first." I Reply.
"Is that what I'm gonna be known for, the girl who spoke first?"
"Well, at least people know you exist. I saw some of the small groups that have been forming keep glances at you while you ate tonight."
"Why would they do that?" She asks confused now sitting down on the ground. I follow her actions. "I think they are thinking what I'm thinking. Whatever the defiance is gonna train us for they're gonna want you on there team."
She looked back at the walls that were displaying rainbows with this look of confusion and thinking. Normally I'm good at reading people but she has this that I have a feeling will be really hard to know I down.
After a few moments of silence pass by she breaks it again "So is V short for something?"
"Velocity." I respond with regretting it after.
"I know it's a weird name for a person. That's why I go by V."
"I think is unique." She says just as pounding footsteps echo from up the hall.
Soldiers including the one ,which I make out to be probably the general of this place, that Fea spoke to.
Getting up quickly I wait a good ten seconds before I follow them down back to the bunk room with Fea on my tail. The general blew his whistle three times and people started to slowly wake up and stand in a cluster to what further instructions.
Fea and I morph into the group before they noticed we were gone. The general stepped forward and scanned the crowd like he was looking for something or someone. Finally his eyes made his way over to where we were standing and then stood still. I turned to see what he was starting at. Fea. Just I was about to tell Fea silence fell and the general began to explain the day.
"Good morning campers!" He said in a cheerful tone. " I hope you enjoyed your first night here at the mountain valley hidden defiance Plaza. Now to began. You are now free from organization that calls themselves S.I.K.E .-" Anger starts to boil from the mention of their name. Secluded Intergovernmental Knowledge Experiments, S.I.K.E.
They took him I think to myself. Casey. I still remember the words they told me the day they took him from my unit, my little brother. He will be back in a week they assured me. He could help save a lot of people they said. Now a year later so much has happened and nobody is being saved in fact it's the exact opposite. And to add I don't have a clue if he is even alive. I shiver thinking of all the things they could've done or used him for. There have been rumors spreading about before the, we call it the humanity extinction, that they took people and put them in a safe place to later help restore the world to the way it used to be.
My attention was now drawn back to present time as the crowd dispersed and started getting into there groups and walking down to the cafeteria. Once there and sitting down I have Fea explain what he said since I spaced out.
Everyday we will wake up at the sixth zero go to the cafeteria and then go to the training room that they are gonna show us next.
"What are we training for exactly?" I ask think about it. "There is only one thing that we would have to fight right. S.I.K.E. I think there plan is too to get more people like us out of captain city and the eventually take control of S.I.K.E." She reply.
For they next fifth-teen minutes we ate in silence. I began to wonder if I help the defiance maybe I will be able to find Casey. My heart starts to feel with joy at the thought of being with him again. In that moment I knew that this would be the start of something much bigger than I have ever dealt with before and as I got the training room I realized I was right.
