Moora's POV

Why...why would you rather love humans than me? I'm the most beautiful goddess in the palace but yet I lost to that one peasant? Habaek...how cruel of you.

My heartache soon turned into hatred as I caught every moment between the disgusting human girl and Habaek at the lotus pond.

I will destroy the both of you just like how I destroyed Sera! You'll never be with the girl you love unless you love me only!

When I returned to my room, I took the thing that I had hidden for many years in my locker chest. It was Sera's lock of hair when I forced her back into the human world. I looked at myself in the mirror as I thought for a very long time.

You'll never love me...but what if I become a human myself?

The thought of having my face turned into Sera's made me sick. But I had enough of everything. I will make Habaek fall for me, and only me.

Qin's POV

"Here is the green powder that you wanted." Kai handed the golden pouch to me the next day.

"Kai, I'm sorry for shouting at you yesterday. It just...I was wrong." I apologised instantly at the thought of myself screaming at the most kindest God ever.

"I'm fine, my Queen. I shouldn't have questioned your privacy. Please forgive me." He bowed and that made me even more guilty. "One more thing," Kai said before he left, "Do be careful with the words you say to your lost love when you use the powder. The effect could be quite dangerous."

"Thank you, Kai." I gave him a smile and he left the room. I opened up the pouch carefully and the green powder sparkled. It was giving me the temptation to use it right there and then but Kai mentioned to be careful with it.

"If I could just see Brother Junhyung for the last time..." I closed the pouch and kept it in my personal drawer for a more suitable timing to use it.

That night, I waited for HaBaek to visit again but somehow, he's still wasn't here even though it's already quite late. Maybe he's really busy with work? I wondered to myself feeling a little disappointed.

The next morning, there was quite a commotion when I was out for a stroll in my gardens. The servants in the palace were whispering among themselves while giving me the look when I walked past them.

"Is it just me, or that everybody seem to be looking at me in a different way?" I talked quietly to my servant by my side. "My Queen, perhaps you would like to have a calming tea at the pavilion?" My servant suggested and I agreed.

While I was having tea halfway, Kai and Ryu walked past and I called out to them. However, they couldn't hear as they rushed over to somewhere.

"Did something happened in the palace?" I questioned.

"Nothing for you to worry about, my Queen." The servant served me some flower crackers as she assured.

Habaek didn't visit my room again that night. I was getting worried if he might have gotten ill. I decided to visit him instead.

"My Queen, it wouldn't be proper a lady to visit a man's room at night." One of the servant stopped me.

"What is wrong with a wife wanting to see her husband? Step away." I was kind of frustrated at my servants 'till the point I was talking rudely to them because they kept stopping me from leaving the room. My words had got them speechless and I managed to leave, with several servants tailing behind me.
