Sky sighed. Art wasn't her favorite subject, and the teacher hadn't even arrived yet!
Finally, Ms. Williams arrived. “Good afternoon, children.”
“Good afternoon, Ms!” The whole class chorused.
“Today you will draw a animal. Choose any animal you want.” said Ms. Williams.
Beside Lily, Lavender Brown grabbed a paper and began to trace a outline of a sparrow.
Rachel decided to draw a peacock. She too grabbed a paper and began to draw.
Ms. Williams sat down on a chair in front of the class and gazed serenely at them.
One by one, the students showed their paintings and drawings to her.
Next, it was Rachel's turn. She confidently stood up, walked briskly to the front.
Ms. Williams studied the peacock and scribbled down something on a piece of paper.
She nodded and Rachel walked back to her seat
Finally Ms. Williams stood up and said, “Class, there is going to be a drawing competition-” Rachel, of course, looked excited, “Those whom I call out are eligible to participate.”
“Eric Hardy.” Eric, a black haired, black eyed boy stood up. “Elizabeth Collins.” Elizabeth, a red-headed, brown eyed girl, “Ashley White.” Somebody in the back snickered. Ashley was blonde with brown eyes. “Shane Crise.” A blond boy with blue eyes stood up. “And, Rachel Dare.” Rachel triumphantly stood up.
“You may stay back till 4 ‘o’ clock to practice, or for help.” Ms. Williams said. “So that concludes this class. Thank you, all.”
“Thank you, Ms!” The class stood up and chorused.
Ms. Williams walked out, and chaos broke out.
