Jeongin didn't know where to go

Jeongin didn't know where to go. He felt vulnerable and alone without Chan by his side. He knew he shouldn't of said what he said. All he wanted to do was kiss Chan on the lips and tell him how much he meant to him. Chan had always been the one to say 'I love you' and Jeongin had never said it back. He should have though, maybe then Chan wouldn't of had any doubts about Jeongins feelings toward him. Jeongin was exhausted from crying and just wanted to cuddle Chan in his warm bed and kiss him a million times, but he'd have to apologize first. Jeongin didn't know where he was going. He was literally, lost. He tried to find his way back to Chan's room, but it was no use. As Jeongins thoughts consumed his attention he didn't notice someone marching right towards him. They grabbed his shoulders and covered his mouth, pinning him against the wall. "Jeongin?" They asked. "Yes?" Jeongin replied, but his voice came out muffled and inaudible. He was released from the wolf's grip and pulled off of the wall. "I'm Seungmin. I'm the one that gave you the clothes." The boy said. "Oh, thank you!" Jeongin bowed gratefully. "I've actually been looking for you." Seungmin admitted. Seungmin decided not to ask why Jeongins eyes were red and puffy. He didn't want to pry, but he had a suspicion that Chan and him had fought. "Why were you looking for me?" Jeongin asked. Seungmin grabbed Jeongins arm and pulled him into a direction that they began walking in together. "Have you heard about the kidnapping?" Seungmin inquired. Jeongin shook his head and Seungmin sighed. Chan really was useless. "Well, The Yang Family, your family, kidnapped one of our soldiers in attempt to kidnap Chan. However, they made a mistake and decided to take Felix hostage anyway." Seungmin informed. Jeongin gasped and felt his eyes well up again. He knew his family was horrible, but this was worse than Jeongin had thought. Jeongin decided to put his personal feelings toward his family behind him and listen to Seungmin's explanation. "We've been trying to develop a plan of attack for a few days now, however, we don't really know much about the castle itself." Seungmin continued. Jeongin could see where Seungmin was going with this, but Jeongin was ready to help. "I'll help with that." Jeongin blurted our. Seungmin smiled and his eyes filled with excitement. "Really? Thanks!" Seungmin expressed. They stopped walking when they reached a door. "I brought you back to Chan's room, uh, I hope everything works out." Seungmin said before leaving. Jeongin stood infront of the door without knocking or trying to go inside. He figured Chan knew he was there, due to his smell, but was waiting for Jeongin to make the first move in apologizing. Jeongin could already feel is eyes and nose well up with sadness. He accidentally let a sob slip from his lips and covered his mouth quickly, but he knew Chan heard it. Jeongin held his breath and tried to listen for anything on the other side of the door, but he didn't hear anything. He leaned his ear closer to the door and tried again. This time, the door swung open and he crashed into Chan's chest. He immediately tried to compose himself and wipe his tear away, but Chan pulled him inside and shut the door. Jeongin looked at the floor, he didn't want to look Chan in the eye. He was afraid of what he'd see. Red, puffy, tear filled eyes. Cold, emotionless, angry eyes. Regretful, merciless, 'I wish I'd never met you' eyes. Jeongin didn't want to see any of those. He wanted to see the eyes he grew up with. The eyes he had fallen in love with. Chan's eyes. "Jeongin." Chan said, breaking the silence. Jeongin let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and fell to his knees. "I-I'm sorry! I was a jerk and I shouldn't have said that. I l-love you so m-much and couldn't live five minutes with you mad at me. I can't believe I made you so upset. I just want you to hold me and kiss me like you always do. You're so nice to me and I would be your boyfriend in a heartbeat! I didn't mean to be so harsh, I-" Chan caught Jeongins rambling off with his hand placed over his mouth. Chan moved his head down and looked into Jeongins puppy dog eyes. "Jeongin." Chan repeated. Jeongin looked deep into Chan's eyes and saw exactly what he'd wanted to see. Chan's love filled eyes. "I love you too." Chan said with the biggest, warmest, and cutest smile Jeongin had ever seen. Jeongin returned the smile, despite his tear stained face. Chan pulled Jeongin in for a salty tasting kiss, but neither of them minded. Jeongin felt like crying of happiness and relief, but if he cried anymore, he'd probably pass out. Jeongin slid his slim hands onto Chan's face and wiped Chan's drying tears. Chan's face was warmer than usual, but still sculpted by the gods. Jeongin adored everything about Chan and he realized in that moment that he was completely, utterly, impossibly starstruck by the mere though of Chan. In other words, he was whipped. "Please," Jeongin said quietly breaking the kiss. "Don't leave me again." Chan's eyes widened in realization. The one thing he swore not to do, he did without thought. It was true. He literally left Jeongin in the hallway, alone, vulnerable, and crying. Just like he'd done six years ago. Chan felt his heart shatter into a million tiny shards of glass. Chan wrapped his arms tightly around Jeongins waist and pulled him into the bed. Jeongin sat around Chan's waist and gently held Chans neck, but Chan was holding Jeongin like he didn't plan on ever letting go again. Chan spent the next thirty minutes crying and apologizing to Jeongin. He'd felt like he'd shattered their trust. Jeongin just stroked his hair and soft ears, trying to calm Chan's hyperventilating. "I love you." Jeongin repeated over and over again. Chan mumbled incoherent responses after each one. Although Jeongin could exactly make up words, he knew what Chan was saying. "I love you too."
