Chan and Jeongin let their feet dangle over the edge of the lake and into it's flowing waters. They were back at the waterfall where they'd first reunited. Chan's hand lightly stroked up and down Jeongins thigh while Jeongin rested his body against Chan's shoulder. It was peaceful. "Jeongin." Chan spoke up, breaking natures rhythm. "Yeah?" Jeongin replied with his eyes still trained on the rushing waters. "This is real right?" He asked quietly. Jeongin got up and straddled Chan's waist. He leaned in slowly and pressed a slow kiss onto Chan's lips. Jeongin pulled away slowly, letting his lips linger on Chan's till the last second. "Does it feel real?" He asked with his arms wrapped around Chan's neck. Chan sighed and nodded, his arms finding their way around Jeongins waist. "Promise me you won't disappear again. If you did...I don't know what I would do." Chan confessed. Jeongin ruffles his hair and kissed the crown of Chans head. "I'm never, ever, in a million years going to leave you. I love you to much and honestly, I'd probably die without you. I almost did." Jeongin said. Chan squeezed Jeongin tighter and rubbed his back. "If I ever die, promise me that you'll keep going." Chan whispered. Jeongin inhaled sharply at Chan's words. How could he? He didn't want to admit it to Chan, but he wasn't sure he'd be able to move on if Chan died. He just didn't reply and kept kissing Chan's face and head lightly. Chan kissed Jeongins lips as he tried kissing Chan's cheek. Jeongin jumped in surprise but melted into Chan a second later. The kiss grew heated and they ended up making out. They were dangerously close to the edge of the water, but they were to preoccupied to notice. Jeongin 'accidentally' rubbed between Chan's pants, right where his crotch was, making Chan moan lowly. Chan slightly rolled to the side as he relished the feeling of Jeongin on top of him, again not noticing the waters edge. Chan tumbled into the freezing water, softening any hardness he'd gotten while Jeongin was on top of him. Jeongin fell in as well, and suddenly remembered the cold waters he'd fell into the night of his escape. He began to panic and scramble to the surface. He threw his head upward and gasped louder than he ever had. He used what strength he had to pull himself to shore. Chan followed as well. They panted from nearly drowning and tried to wring the water out of their clothes. Jeongin was trembling. Chan slid closer to Jeongin and wrapped his soaking arms around Jeongins shaking shoulders. "Are you okay baby?" He asked quietly. Jeongin didn't respond and Chan pulled him closer. Jeongin thought about that question until they were alone in bed that night. Chan's arms still wrapped around him, protecting him. He thought about his father, his brother, his new friends, and Chan. He stayed awake that night and pressed against Chan, soaking in his warmth in contrast to his cold and empty thoughts. Morning broke and he woke up, unaware he'd fallen asleep in the first place, to light kisses against his cheek. He cracked his eyes open and glanced over to see Chan adoringly peppering his skin with light kisses. Jeongin smiled and sat up, startling Chan. He stretched while Chan wrapped his arms around Jeongins waist, lazily letting the blankets fall off of him. Chan's bare chest made Jeongins face heat up and he quickly pulled the sheets to cover Chan. Chan laughed and hugged Jeongin instinctively tighter. "Have you thought about my question?" Chan asked. Jeongin nodded. "I have." "And?" "I don't think I'm okay." Chan gasped and sat up, ignoring the sheets falling again. He grabbed Jeongins cheeks softly and stared at him with concern. "Why not?" Chan asked. "Because I'm more than okay. I feel better than I've ever felt before. I feel perfect." Jeongin said with a smile. His soft hands reached up and covered Chan's. Chan sighed in relief and leaned in to press a kiss against Jeongins sweet lips. "You have no idea how perfect you are to me."
