Chapter 4-Kevin

Today Wednesday we have P.E as the last class, they always switching it in Wednesday and Friday.

We have uniform like mostly every other school and there was three teachers ,Mr.Robles,Ms.Garcia,Mr.Brown.

I had Mr.Robles and my friend Kevin did too and Jazmine and other people that I know.

"Ok, roll call!!"he yelled.

Everyone went to the bleachers and went in order as always.Mr just went in order to count if everyone is here and yeah.Then said that we just wait for 10 minutes then we are gonna run.

So we hang around the bleachers and just talk,some kids come up behind Kevin.

"Hey Kevin, why don't you talk about your family?You have everything a secret don't you"Ruben said,he's a friend, you can call him that but he does pick on people often.

Kevin looks uncomfortable.

"So what if I do keep everything a secret!"he says loudly.

"Well all we know is that your dad runs Oscorp and he's the mayor,but your dad is a really secretive person like you."

I step in.

I said,"Yeah that is true but since we don't know nothing about his dad, Friday we can ask him questions when we go to his work,I'm sure Kevin doesn't know what his dad does sometimes."

Kevin says, "Thats true I don't really know anything so it will be interesting for everyone."

Everyone nods and seemed pleased.

Time passes as we talk more and it was time to run.

"Alright!Everyone this is a mile,reason why I'm giving you guys a mile because next week starts winter break,so I want you guys to go home fit,ok?"

"Oh damn I forgot about winter break"Kevin says.
"Yeah me too."

Our teacher blows the whistle and we start running,we have to run around the track 4 times cause it's not that big.
Mostly everyone does okay in the first lap but then people start walking and get tired easily.While I'm just there easily beating the mile.
"Hey Thomas!"
I hear a scream from behind,it was Kevin.
I slow down and go same pase as him.

"Yeah what's up?"I tell him while we run.
"Nothing just wanted to say thank you for sticking up for me back there"he says happily.
"Yeah it's fine I got your back no matter what,plus I won't betray you like some people did."
Saying this I know it will impact him because recently some people were saying bad stuff about him so I'm just here behind his back helping.

"Yeah I know you'll never do that but thanks"he says again.
He starts running a little faster and I catch up and he keeps going faster until he went full running speed and so I went too.We went like this until the third lap.I caught up to him and went even faster,and he was keeping up until I went full blast and he just stop and saw me going down the track pass everyone,and Mr.Robles was watching me and pass the him and stopped.

Mr.Robles says"Thomas...that was freaking amazing!You we're going so fast,you should join track and field."
"Nah no thanks Im just busy,you know"
"When ever you have the chance Thomas."
I walk away and go to the lockers to get dressed and when I get out people are coming back,and I see Jazmine heading into the girls locker room and she looks at me and waves,I wave back.
"This is nice..."I said softly.
The bell rang and it was time to go home.
