People who say "life is like a box of chocolates you never really know what you're gonna get" clearly haven't lived. I knew exactly what was going to happen but I still attempted to change everything. To change fate. Which is ironic considering I don't believe in fate. Now I'm not saying I have lived, because I barley have. I'm a senior. How can a senior have lived when they're still in school? This was purely just the beginning of everything.
It all started on the first day back to our senior year after break. Weird things were happening. Everyone had come back hoping to get more recognition and popularity than what they had had before break. There were the Jocks, who were all undeniably hot but so full of themselves that it makes them highly unattractive. The ring leader Ryan, had a few secrets just like any of us. These secrets were different though. These were dark. He could easily tell my secret but I don't want to risk that so, his secrets will stay secret. For now at least. But let us just say, he knows we're not all innocent as we may seem. Some may say he's always watching. The team captain Jamie, or J, as everyone knows him as, claims they will all win the up coming match which is more than a month away but he's a jock. A jock will be a jock.
Next were the schools bitches. As cruel and dramatic as can be. The princess that everyone bowed down to would kill anyone who dared to breathe in her proximity range. Chloe was somehow so loved by everyone and basically a true inspiration to all. Except me of course, I didn't want to be some self absorbed, stuck up cow who made everyone else's life hell. How she was so loved is amazingly beyond my beliefs.
The good old nerdy table were expecting to get some kind of relationship with at least one of the bitches. It wouldn't happen. Chloe would look down at this group of people, as if they were dirt. Riley, who was the most known out of them, had tried to get Chloe's number durning break and it did not work. At all. Let's just say he needed to buy a new pair of glasses and became a laughing stock for a long time. It was all over social media. Instagram. Facebook. Twitter. You name it, and Riley would be there.
The "gothic emo" table as everyone called it had a new member, who had also become their "leader". Samatha. It was obvious that she was going to join the group ever since we all started school, but when she finally did it was no shock. The constant talks about death and the "stupid meanings" of life was quite scary, especially when she would enjoy dissecting frogs in science. She really did enjoy it. It was honestly extremely disturbing to watch.
The gayest guy in school Lewis, who was as flamboyant as ever had now been joined with a few "recruits". 2 lesbians, who I don't know their names to and some guy named Kacey who is rather cute but we don't need to pay attention to that since he's gay after all. There was also some other girl, Zoey, who was highly confused about her sexuality and had no idea what to do. Bless her soul. Everyone seemed to love Lewis no matter what. He was just this ray of sunshine that lit up the room and would emit happy rays around everyone near him. The other gays envied him. They were jealous of him. Who wouldn't be? He was basically perfect at everything. Some may say Lewis was a perfectionist. Everything had to be perfect in Lewis' eyes.
Then there were the straight A students who had obviously spent their time studying all over break. Although there was 1. Hollie. She didn't just spend her time locked away in her bedroom during summer, studying for days on end, desperately trying to remember everything. No, she had a life. She had actually left the house and socialised with others. No one ever imagined her to do that. I saw her down at the diner a few times. She would be sat in her own booth, earphones in listening to some sort of music. She smiled at me when she saw me looking. I smiled back but looked away quickly.
And finally the guys that somehow got hot over the summer. They were obviously getting more attention than they had anticipated. The hottest one was Oliver, but now he was hot he was Olly and that boy was drop dead gorgeous. All the girls would now swoon over him. Every time he stepped into a room in the school, the girls were all drooling like dogs. Not only had he got hotter but his voice was now deeper which just added to it all. He was basically boyfriend material, and all the girls wanted a piece of him.
Then there was me on the other hand who didn't crave the attention and popularity. I wanted to stay as invisible as ever. That way I wouldn't have to worry about all the drama that happens in this hell house of a school.
Oh boy how wrong I was....
