That night Della was the very definition of smothering. Louie barley even looked at Her and Huey was just trying to survive the next couple days. Dewey was beyond excited to finally spend some time with his mom but at the same time he missed webby.

Dewey decided it's way better to enjoy the time he had with her then to be upset the whole time.

"Finally after fifty years I will finally find the legendary rattling rubies of Margaret realsty"Scrooge said "Donald are ye listening?"

No, Donald certainly was not listening, he was looking through the photos on his phone.

"What are ye doing?"Scrooge asked.

"Maybe I should call them, make sure everything's alright"Donald said.

Scrooge took his phone "why can't you just trust your sister?"He asked.

Donald tried to steal the phone back "Because I know her!"

"How could you say that?"He asked still fighting with Donald.

"Guys stop fighting!"Launchpad said then.

Della called Donald to ask him something but the connection was a little fuzzy "Donald? Hello?"

"Sorry Donald can't come to the phone right now he's AHHH busy Woah!! Um sleeping?" Then there was a crash.

"Launchpad what's going on?"Della asked.

"Well..."

"Hey give me that!"Donald said grabbing the phone "Della is this an emergency?"He asked.

"What?"Della asked.

"Why did you call?"Donald asked.

"I cant understand what you're saying"Della said "I'll just text you, everything is fine"She said.

"What?"

She hung up.

"This is what happens when you hire an idiot for your pilot"She said to herself.

"Because you were a better pilot?"Dewey asked.

"Oh hi dewey, what are you doing? Shouldn't you be playing with your brothers?"She asked.

"Actually louie is sulking and Huey is working on some nerd stuff, I wanted to ask you some questions if you don't mind"He said.

"Oh...ok dear"She said.

"Did you name us or did uncle Donald? How old were you when you met Scrooge? What was uncle Donald like as a kid have you ever-"

"Those are a lot of questions"She said, "Where does your uncle keep the kale?"She asked.

Dewey sighed "Mom....."

Della looked at dewey and sighed "I named you and llewellyn your uncle came up with huebert"She said "Now what was your other questions?"

Donald was trying desperately to get a connection.

"Donald will you give it up? It's hopeless"Scrooge said.

"Louie seemed upset about staying with Della, I'm just checking on him"He said.

"Bless me bagpipes"Scrooge took the phone again "Louie's fine! Do you care about anything else?"

"No! Unlike other people I care about my kids!"Donald yelled.

"And I didn't?"Scrooge asked.

"No, you didn't!"He yelled back.

"How could you say that?"Scrooge asked.

"Honestly"He said.

"Guys we're here so you two can bond"Launchpad said.

"No, we're here so Della can spend some time with the boys"Scrooge said.

"No, we're here because you crashed the plane!"Donald said "I never should've don't this!"

"I can fix the plane don't worry"Launchpad said "You two just stay where you are".

"We don't have a choice we're on a desert island!"Donald yelled.

Della placed the "food" on the table "I hope you boys like lasagna"She says.

Huey wasn't sure it was edible "Um wow that definitely looks....like that".

"That's not lasagna that's slop in a casserole dish"Louie said, Huey elbowed him.

"Maybe you'll feel differently once you try it"She said.

"See the thing is I don't like trying new things and this looks disgusting"Louie said "I'm out of here"He gets up and starts to walk back upstairs.

"Louie get back down here!"Della shouted.

"No"

"Llewelyn Duck!"She yelled.

Suddenly everything was silent, Huey and dewey looked at each other then looked back at louie hoping this won't be as bad as they think.

"Nobody calls me that!"He yelled "Not even you, and I hate you for naming me that way!!"Louie ran upstairs and slammed the door.

It was worse.

Della sighed and sat back down at the table.

"He just needs time to adjust"Dewey said.

"Yeah, that's what it is"Huey said.

"We'll talk to him"Dewey said.

"We?"

"I'll have Huey talk to him"Dewey confirmed.

"Alright"She sighed "How does it taste?"She asked.

Why did louie have to be the rebellious one? It was just as bad as it tasted.

"HELP! HELP!"Donald yelled "HEEEEEEELLLP!"

"Will you knock it off?"Scrooge asked "This will not help".

"How can I tell Della we might be late? What if there's an emergency? What if dewey forgets to be careful? What if-"

"They'll be fine, Della will take good care of them"Scrooge said.

"That's what I'm afraid of"He said staying away from the campfire looking to the sky.

After dinner Della sent them straight to bed claiming that they had a long day tomorrow and needed rest.

"It's still a work in progress, I'm sure everything will work out"Dewey said, they entered the bedroom and louie was on his bed reading a comic book, he looked up and saw both dewey and Huey glaring at him "what?"He asked.

"Seriously louie?"Dewey asked.

"You promised uncle Donald you'd be nice"Huey said.

"My promises mean nothing and besides when have we ever listened to Donald?"He asked.

"We need to figure out how to survive the next couple days"Huey said.

"Guys, mom isn't that bad"Dewey said.

"Boys I don't want to hear another word, we have a big day ahead"Della yelled sweetly.

"Ok she's close but it just takes time"He said.

Huey sighed and climbed into bed, a little worried about Tomorrow...ok a lot.
