Love or Power

Chapter 1

All of the girls looked at Alice in complete shock. "Ok! So let me get this straight! When you "died" you met a spirit named Kyra and developed a connection to spirits. Given a prophecy that you have no idea what it means, but think it has to deal with the fate of the universe. Had another dream about the prophecy, this time showing a memory of when Rikka met with Ira. Think that maybe Ira is the shadows because of his dark magic and the just given vision. And this also explains what Ira gave you the cure because he has a crush on Rikka. And now we're here." Mana rambled after getting her thoughts together. "That sums it up. Yes." Alice responded tiredly. "Anymore questions?" "What I want to know is why you met with Ira in the first place, Rikka. Why didn't you tell us?" Makoto asked looking directly at the girl in question. "I didn't think that it was important to tell anyone. Ira didn't give me much information and it's not like he tried to attack me. I didn't want to start more stress and drama since Alice was recovering." Rikka explained not looking at Makoto directly. "That doesn't change the fact that he's a member of the selfish trio! Ira can't be trusted, much less be the one who can help us defeat the Selfish King." Aguri exclaimed. "We're a team Rikka! We can't keep secrets like that from each other." "Just because we're a team doesn't mean that I have to tell you everything about my personal life! This was a personal matter that I didn't feel the need to tell anyone! It's as simple as that!" Rikka growled growing frustrated. "Alright you two! Break it up!" Mana exclaimed, putting herself between the two girls. "Look! None of us like this situation, but arguing isn't helping us at all!" The two fighting friends both shut their mouths. Aguri glared at Rikka for a moment. At the same time Rikka refused to even look at the younger girl. "Mana is right. I know everyone is stressed out after everything that has happened recently, but we can't take it out on each other. As much as I don't like the fact that Rikka decided to meet with Ira, we can't change it now. Right now we need to focus on the situation at hand." Makoto reasoned. "So instead of arguing about what happened in the past, let's work together to try to figure out a problem in the present." she continued while looking directly at Rikka and Aguri with a hard stare. "Fine." Rikka muttered under her breath. Aguri didn't say anything, but she adjusted to a less tense and threatening position. "Alright! Now Alice, are you sure Ira is connected to all of this?" Mana asked. "Yes. I had 2 dreams in a row about the prophecy, and now I know that the vision that I saw did in fact happen. On top of that Ira gave me the antidote. It can't be a coincidence. Ira is involved. I don't know what part he plays or how much he will affect things, but I know that much. If we could talk to Ira we might get a chance to figure out the prophecy more." Alice answered. "That's all fine and dandy, but how are we even going to find Ira, much less talk to him?!" Aguri asked. "Aguri has a point. There hasn't been a single Jikochuu attack in over a month. We don't even have a single way to contact or find him. Last time I checked we don't have a Selfish Tracker." Makoto said  "I have to agree with you guys on that. We don't have enough information to try anything right now. We're just going to have to keep an eye out." Mana reasoned before letting out a sigh. "Alice, will you see if you can have anymore dreams? We might be able to get some answers." "I can't control when I see spirits, but I'll try. Going to sleep tonight shouldn't be a problem." Alice stated before letting out a long yawn as if it prove a point. "Ok. We'll meet up in the park if anything happens." Mana concluded. "Oh! And Rikka?" "Hm?" "If anything about Ira comes up then make sure to tell us okay." her friend said gently. "Okay, got it." Rikka said distantly. "Alright now that everything is in order, lets go Alice. I'll walk you home tonight." Makoto said before starting to walk out the door. "Coming!" Alice exclaimed before getting up to follow her. "I might as well get going too. Bye you guys." Aguri said. Then she left the building. "Soooo, wanna have a sleepover?" Mana asked her best friend. "I'm picking the movie." Rikka stated before heading upstairs with her bubbly friend.

Alice opened her eyes to see a strange place. It was dark as night. The buildings were in shambles, the roads were wrecked, and there wasn't a single person in sight. But somehow these ruins looked familiar. "This is the Trump Kingdom, isn't it?! But what am I doing here." Suddenly there was a noise of something moving behind her. Alice turned around and saw the familiar figure of Ira. He was looking straight at her, and started walking in her direction. "Ira look there's no reason to fight! I-" She was cut off when Ira walked straight trough her, as if she wasn't even there. "I'm never going to get used to these dreams." Alice muttered before she started walking towards Ira. But before she could get very far everything started to fade away. "Wait! If Ira is in the Trump Kingdom, how are we supposed to get there?!" she yelled out, hoping that the question would be answer. Right before she completely succumbed to the realm of sleep, the vision changed to a new place. It was an island that was lush and filled with life. Alice heard one word enter her mind as she looked at it. Bayn Ealimin

I'm not dead! Wow! This shouldn't have taken 4 months. Really sorry about that guys. My life has just been hectic lately. Don't worry nothing bad! I'm just so busy to the point that when my day ends I'm dying on the inside. Hope and pray that I won't take as long for the next chapter. I really hope you guys liked this chapter and that it was worth the wait. If not then yell at me when I take too long. Anyways see you guys next time!
