"According to the patrolling officers that arrived on scene, the body of the boy was found by the school guard in front of the gym a few hours after school ended. He said that when he made his first round near the main building the body was not there however when he went for the second round, he saw it behind the building. Based on the initial investigation that was done the police it has been concluded as a suicide." Officer Park explains over the speaker phone.
Everyone from Unit S, except Officer Park, had been requested to visit the crime scene.
"However?" Detective Kim asks.
"There are two things, one, there was no suicide note and two, the parents are adamant that their son had no reason to make such a bold decision."
"Well, parents often can be ignorant to the problems their children might be in." Detective Kim replies annoyed.
Lieutenant Lee and Chief Nam stare at Detective Kim in disbelief.
"Why have we been assigned this case?" Detective Do asks suddenly.
"According to Commissioner Han he is the only son of Hong Hyeong Joon and he personally requested our team to look into the matter." Detective Im explains.
"The guy who made the 'emergency services in 10 mins' app?" Detective Do asks startled.
"Yup." Detective Im replies.
"What's is his son doing in such a mediocre school?" Officer Park asks over the speaker, "Isn't he suppose to be rich?"
Before anyone answers Detective Kim starts off, "More intriguing than that is the irony that the person who made that emergency service app has his own son die without receiving any help?" Detective Kim asks rhetorically.
This time everyone in the van turns their head towards her.
"What?" She asks nonchalantly.

The Unit S members arrive an hour later to the school where the boy was found. Although the crime scene tapes are still present the scene itself feels abandoned.
"It has already been 2 days hence we won't have the first movers advantage. Park has emailed us the photos taken by the Medical Examiner. Look through them, compare them etc and let's meet back in the van in two hours." Chief Nam dictates.
"Yes Sir." The team reply in unison.

Detective Do immediately goes to the Guard's room who was the first person at the crime scene and asks him if she can interview him. He asks her to sit down with her.
In a attempt to make him lower his guards she first engages him a friendly conversation. She asks him about the boys and the school and by the end of his banter Bong Soon senses that he trusts her and starts into her questioning casually.
"That's hilarious. By the way, I heard that you went for a second round and that's when you discovered the body." Detective Do starts.
"That's correct Miss." The guard replies as he subtly plays with his cap on the table. He doesn't seem defensive so she continues, "Do you do that often?"
The guard stops for a second and replies, "Once in a while."
Even though it is just for a split second but Bong Soon senses that hesitation as a confirmation to follow her instincts. "I see."
Detective Do looks through her notes just to build up a bit of tension and continues,"Why did you do two rounds in less than three hours?"
Now the guard stops playing with his cap altogether. "What?"
