Chapter 18

Twisted Shadow

It was a quite morning in New Orleans. Naveen was sleeping in his little house that he and Tiana owned, but a strange shadowed passed through the room. It watched Naveen and Tiana as they slept. It was the silhouette of a man with a pack of playing cards that he was shuffling.

"This slimy little frog gets his way and I'm stuck living in the shadows. Not anymore." He poured a strange purple glowing powder on one card and blew it onto the room. The room around him dissolved into a yellow, green smoke. Changing into another room. "If I am to destroy him. I must make him suffer first." The shadow faded into nothing, letting out a wicked laughter as the room changed.

Chapter 19

Awaken Past

Naveen felt an uneasy feeling in his room. When he sat up something was different. He rubbed his eyes and looked again. He was in his old room back in Maldonia. Lawrence walked in the room and looked straight at Naveen.

"Naveen we need to hurry if you want to make it to the ball in time. The ship leaves in less than an hour. Hurry up!" said Lawrence as he walked out of the room into his.

"What is this, how did Lawrence get out of prison and how did I get back to Maldonia, I must get back to New Orleans." so Naveen got ready and made his way outside the castle and onto the ship with Lawrence.

Chapter 20

A New Protector is Made

Back at Yen Sid's castle, Mickey sat there with Yen Sid, as he worked on his world where all the forgotten men, woman, and animals of of stories long ago could go. Yen Sid sat down in his chair as he looked over at the books and noticed a storm stirring in one of his windows. he walked closer and realized that the window leads to the world gate of New Orleans.

"Mickey, where is Chiyo?" asked Yen Sid as he started to look through his chest.

"She is on the hunt with her pack. She said she won't be back for a couple days. Why?" Mickey stared at Yen Sid, for he was starting to worry as much as Yen Sid was.

"I don't want her getting involved in this one, I have a mission for you. Dr. Facilier is getting to the point where he can destroy all good and light in the world. Pack your things my apprentice, your time is now." Yen Sid dismissed Mickey to his room. As Mickey ran he went back to his chest and grabbed his second magic hat "It's time I give him his gift."

A couple hours pasted and now Yen Sid walked into mickeys room. "Mickey, it's time I gave you a gift. It's my old hat, it might be a bit rugged but still holds much power, more than the last time you used it, please take it and use it to control your magic."

"Gosh, thanks Master Yen Sid. This is a great honor." Said Mickey as he placed it in his backpack.

"Now Mickey. Go, and fulfill the task what you have been given." Yen Sid opened a door and Mickey jumped through it. Beginning his adventure.
