chapter 9

Emma's POV
I woke up early in the morning to the sound of police cars showing up to yesterdays incident so that they could investigate...not sure what though because to me there really was nothing to investigate.

The light of the morning struck my eyes causing me to jump waking up Ethan who was lying next to me.Oops I thought to myself.

"Emma?" I heard him say.
"Shh...go back to sleep Eth I didn't mean to wake you." I said.
"Why are you awake so early?" He said now getting up to sit upright.
"Just the sound of the police cars that just showed up nearby my apartment. I am a light sleeper." I said while chuckling at the last thing I said.

"Well now I am awake and once I wake up I can't go back to sleep unless I am really tired." Ethan said while giving me a morning kiss.

"Sorry." I said while laughing.
"So what would you like for breakfast?" He said while getting up and walking out of my room.
"Pancakes please and an iced almond latte!" I yelled as he walked down the stairs.

"Ok!" I heard him say finally. I then decided to take a shower and when I was done I changed and headed downstairs. Ethan was there already setting out our plates as he placed warm pancakes on them.

"Mmmm...smells yummy." I said excited to eat the pancakes and drink my coffee which I saw Ethan also made. After me and Ethan finished up he took a shower and just wore the same clothes he wore yesterday.

"Eth?" I said as we entered my car to drive Ethan home. "Yes?" He replied while putting on his seatbelt,
"Thanks for staying with me last night...I really appreciate it." I said.
"Sure... I would do anything to protect you and make you feel safe." He said admiring my face.

"What?" I said smiling.
"Nothing." He said now also smiling. We drove to his house jamming to some of my favourite tunes which Ethan also enjoyed.

We arrived at his house. He kissed me goodbye and told me to call him if anything went wrong. I was a bit scared for him to leave me but I didnt say anything as he also needed to spend time with Grayson.

I sadly drove back to my apartment but decided I would get myself a coffee for the second time today.

I walked into the cafe and ordered my drink. I was collecting it when I saw Eric. He stormed angrily over to me. I grabbed my drink and tried to run but he grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the store.

"So Emma I heard you have a boyfriend." He said angrily still gripping me tightly.

"Have you been following me you pervert?" I yelled and his grip tightened on my arm which caused me a great amount of pain.
"Maybe...anyways that is not the point.I am here to get back at you. You put me in that juvie hell hole for 3 years Emma!" He yelled furiously.
"You deserved it! You abused me and made me want to kill myself!" By now tears were running quickly down my face.

Eric grabbed me in anger and pulled me into his car. I tried to fight but he was just to strong. He took me and duct taped my mouth and tied me up. He then filmed a video on my phone threatening my parents saying that they had to pay him a certain amount of money or he would kill me. I was screaming and crying trying to get out but the rope on my hands was really tight. He then put my fingerprint in it and sent it to them on messages.

Ethan's POV
I got 5 missed calls from Emma's mom. I had just woken up from a 2 hour nap. My phone once again buzzed. If I didn't answer this would have been the 6th missed call from Emma's mom.

I answered my phone and Emma's mom told me the horrible news about Emma's boyfriend and how he was threatening to kill Emma if her parents didn't pay the ransom.

This made me scared for Emma but also wanting to beat the hell out of Eric right now. I shouldn't of left Emma alone I thought to myself angrily. I texted James and told him to meet us at Emma's moms house after explaining to him about the Emma situation.

I had also explained to Grayson the terrible news and we were now on our way to Emma's moms house.

It was an hour later and me Emma's mom and the rest of the sister squad had formulated a plan against Eric and a smart one. I just wanted to hold Emma in my arms. I couldn't imagine how scared she must be right now.

The following day the plan was going to go down. It all started with Emma's mom agreeing to pay the ransom and Eric gave her a location of where to drop it off and where to pick up Emma. Her mom would go and drop off the money. I knew someone who could make fake money that looked real. He was gonna give us the money we needed by making it. He owed me a favour anyways.

After Emma's mom drops off the money she would take Emma. Incase of anything going wrong the police were in on our plan. They didn't care about the fake money suprisingly. They would grab Eric and arrest him as he probably realises the money is fake and tries to run after Emma and her mom. The plan was perfect.

Hey guys this chapter was awful I know. I hate it and i am just so lazy typing on a phone. Wish i could use a computer.so when i am lazy i just decide to write less and so ya im really sorry. I dont wanna let you guys down😔 will try harder on the next chapter promise! 😊
