chapter 10

Ethan's POV
I woke up on Emma's moms couch in the living room. I looked around a saw James sleeping on an air mattress. My stomach immediately ached as I smelled food being Cooked in the kitchen. I was definitely hungry. As I stood up everything that happened last night hit me. Emma had been kidnapped by Eric and me,Emma's mom, James and Grayson had formulated a plan to get her back. The police were in on our plan and it was going to take place today. I got snapped out of my thoughts by James who was clapping his fingers in front of my face.

"Hello!! Stop thinking so much,just relax we will get Emma back." He said patting me on my back.
"Uh...ya." I said barely listening thinking about how scared Emma was right now.

"Wake up sleepy heads breakfast is ready!" I heard Gray yell as he came into the living room banging a metal spatula against a metal pan.

"Emma's mom went to fetch the fake money now and Eric gave her a location. The police are on their way now so you 2 need to eat and get dressed!" He said now not banging the pan and spatula anymore.

Me and James then got up and we all went to eat.

*Time pass*

It was time to get Emma back. Emma's mom was grabbing the keys to drive to the location Eric had sent her. I was really nervous but I was sure the plan was gonna work.

"Ok wish me luck." Emma's mom said as she went out of the door with 2 policeman following her out.

Emma's POV
There I sat shaking of fear in a dark room with no windows. Eric had locked me up last night and I hadn't seen him since. I was really scared.

A sudden door of light met my eyes as  Eric walked in with a pair of handcuffs. I cringed. I wasn't used to the light. He came in and handcuffed me violently.

At this point I didn't care if I was gonna die. I had given up all hope. Eric pushed me into a hallway and outside of a large door. We were in a parking lot. I couldn't recognise where we were.

Soon a car pulled up. It looked familiar but I didn't really care because I was ready to die anyways.
I heard a familiar voice screaming my name. It was my mom. She was crying and running towards my small handcuffed body.

"Mom!" I yelled weakly as Eric took out a gun and told her to stop running and stay right where she was.

"Eric...listen I have the money. Please let her go. I just want my baby back!" She yelled now crying harder and falling to her knees.

"Show me the money." Eric said as my mom then grabbed a black bag next to her and throw it to him. He slowly counted it.
"Hmmm..." He said closing the bag up again.

He came towards me and yanked me up off the floor and walked towards my mom who had stood up off her knees.

All of a sudden police sirens could be heard coming towards us. Eric quickly realised what was happening and grabbed me and started to run.

My mom was yelling to let me go. I then all of a sudden kicked Eric in his balls and he let me go holding onto his aching member. I took this as an oppurtunity and ran towards my mom as Eric bent down in pain.

My mom grabbed me and ran towards the police cars that were now stopped and police quickly exited the vehicles running towards Eric who was still on the floor rolling around in pain. Damn. I thought to myself, I must have kicked him hard.

As Eric heard the police running towards him,he took out his gun and started shooting at them. Luckily one of the Police shot Eric in his arm and he let go of the gun holding tightly onto his bloody arm.

The police handcuffed Eric and took the money away from him. They took him into the police vehicle. He looked like he was about to faint when they shoved him into the car.

*Time pass*

I woke up now at home in my bed at my mom's house snuggled up to Ethan who held me protectively. As I unwrapped myself from him quietly I sat up amd remebered everything that had happened in the last 2 and a half hours.

After the police had arrested Eric they had reported that at the hopsital Eric had died.

Apparently he had a heart problem already. He had not been taking his pills and when he got shot it had somehow effected his heart more and he died in hospital. Ethan and the rest of the sister sqaud had told me this.

Wow. I thought to myself as I stood up and went to the bathroom. I looked at my pale face in the mirror. My nose was red and my eyes we very red and puffy like I had been crying. A lot. Then it hit me I had been crying a lot...earlier.

When me and my mom had arrived home after the police had arrested Eric I had seen Ethan and the rest of sister sqaud and broken down crying as I had missed them a lot. We were all crying and then we talked about a lot and they told me about how Eric had died.

I remeber feeling a huge wave of relief and then watching movies with my mom And Dad, who was back and well from the hospital. I also remeber crying again when I looked at my dad as I was so happy he was ok.

Then Ethan had suggested we all get rest and had came and slept with me in my room that was at my mom's house. I remember him telling me how worried he was for me and was so glad that I was ok. I also remember us crying again and then Ethan snuggling me up to sleep.

Must explain the red puffy eyes I thought as I chuckled quielty to myself.
