"I guess...." Kouta could honestly care less about Yuka's feelings at the moment. He was too worried about Lucy to think about anyone else.
"Oh, of course YOU wouldn't care, Kouta!" She punched him in the head. After getting no sudden reaction, she looked at him with disgust and said, "Ugh, you're helpless." Then, she walked inside to do her anual 7:00 pm cleaning.
After a few minutes of blank thoughts, Kouta snapped back to reality. He walked back over to the door.
"Nyu....please come back to me. Please." He put his hand on the door, and it slowly slid down.
"What was that, Kouta?" Yuka said a little too innocently.
Kouta flinched, and turned around to see Yuka's face right near his shoulder.
"H-How did you get behind me without me even noticing!?"
"Well, I turned to walk inside, but I noticed you weren't okay, so I stopped walking, and watched to see what you'd do next. You really can't get over Nyu, can you Kouta? We've all cried over her, and we all still miss her, but I think it's time to let her go. We've searched numerous times, and-"
"Shut up!" Kouta demanded.
"K-Kouta....." Yuka muttered, in shock.
"You don't understand, Yuka. Because of her, I remember my past. She helped me to remember the good, and bad parts of my childhood! She was a great friend, and I cared about her! How could we just forget someone who impacted us so much!?"
"She.....helped you remember? I thought I...."
Kouta hadn't told anyone about that night on the stairs.
"Y-Yuka....you helped me to remember things too." He put his hands on her shoulders.
Yuka took his right hand off her shoulder, and turned to go back into the house.
"Forget it, Kouta...."
"No, wait, Y-Yuka!"
"I SAID FORGET IT, YOU STUPID JERK!" She punched Kouta in the face, and ran inside bawling her eyes out.
