Chapter 1:
Lilly, a fifteen year old, is a junior in high school, living in a very small town right outside of Dallas, Texas. She has long, silky black hair with neon purple and blue highlights, bringing out her chilling blue eyes.
Her deep tan and curvy figure added to her appearance. Two symbolic tattoos were on her wrists, one being a simple Lovatic heart, symbolizing her love for her idol and the other tattoo being elegantly written words "true love waits." She always wore her favorite pair of faded Converse.
She goes to an all-male school because it is has the best education in the whole in town. All of the other students were on a sports team. Lilly being the only girl at the school made all the boys crush on her.
Her boyfriend of a year, Joshua, was a very built guy with short, brown hair and brown eyes. He was also tall, reaching a height of about 6'3".
Joshua was the quarterback for the varsity football team on campus.
This was Lilly's life.

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!* yells Lilly's alarm clock, waking her up for school. She gently places her hand on top of it and resets it for the next day.
Tossing off her floral print comforter, she steps out of her queen sized bed, slips her tanned feet into blue bunny slippers and stands up to make her bed.
The lack of her comforter revealed her simple pajamas which consisted of shorts covered in hearts and a small, light blue camisole, showing her flat stomach and belly piercing which sparkled when the sun reflected on it.
After making her bed, she walks over to her bathroom to take a quick shower. As she bends over to adjust the shower water temperature, Lilly's mother, Samantha, suddenly appears, standing at the doorway in her scrubs. Her wavy, short, light brown hair trails down, over her shoulder.
"I'm off to work honey. I love you." her mom says before walking over to give her a hug. She straddles Lilly, causing her to jump and hit her head on the shower head.
Lilly rubs the top of her head, grimacing, her face filled with embarrassment.
"Oh, I knew you were there, I just was..umm...looking up! Yeah!..." Lilly slips a little nervous smile with a giggle, trying to play it off cool like nothing happened.
"I love you, too". She says finally, dropping the nervous, embarrassed tone and trading it for a sincere voice.
Her mom lets out a little giggle. "You be careful now Lilly." she replies, pretending to buy her daughter's story. Lilly walks up to her mom and wrap her arms around her, knowing her mom would come home late as usual. They stay like that for a while, not wanting to let go.
"I will be back, I promise." her mother replies before kissing her daughter's forehead, seeing the hidden message behind Lilly's bear hug. Lilly shoots her mother a little grin, and quickly looks down at her slippers, hiding her disappointment and watches her mother walk off. Teary-eyed, Lilly slowly turns her attention back to the shower.
Ten minutes later, she walks out of the medium sized bathroom with a red velvet colored towel wrapped around her torso and another towel wrapped around her hair.
She unravels to towel to reveal her wet, silky, colorful, long hair lusciously falling to her back. She gathers it with one hand and reaches for her glittery, purple brush that's on her granite dresser and quickly walks over to her mirror to brush her hair. It rides smoothly through without even a tug. Lilly gently sets her brush down and smiles a big smile, revealing her brightly white, perfect teeth.
She then goes over to her closet and rips the doors open. While looking at her newly-bought, bright baby blue, strapless sun dress with a white jean, short sleeve over top, she knew exactly what she was going wear.
"This. This is the one" She squeals to herself with a huge smile on her face. She changes into the outfit and slowly walks downstairs with her small, light pink purse and book bag covered in hearts. Through the window she sees the bright yellow school bus pull up.
"Oh shit!" She whispers and dashes out to catch the bus, her dress flowing in the wind. The bus doors open for her and she climbs the three stairs to enter it. Strolling down the aisle, passing the rows of seats, she sits at seat number ten.
The bus ride ends shortly and she gets off to join the stream of other students, all smiley and confident.
Walking, Lilly then sees Joshua standing in front of a girl, leaning against the brick wall of the school. He is passionately kissing her. She feels her heart drop to her stomach. Hesitantly, she walks up behind him, suddenly a pool of tears in her eyes, and taps his shoulder, trying hard to hold back her tears. He pulls away from his kiss and turns around.
"Hello?" He smiles as he assumes it's one of his friends. His smile quickly fades as he sees Lilly standing behind him, her eyes sparkling from the
tears. His jaw drops for a second in shock. He puts his hand on Lilly's shoulder but she angrily shakes it off.
The mystery girl feels the tension of her glares boring into Joshua's eyes and walks away from the scene. A single tear rolls down her face. Lilly shakes her head and she quickly walks off. The hurt and anger all coming out from her tears falling from her eyes.
"Wait!" he yells, anxious to defend himself. "I can explain!"
Lilly turns around anger ad hurt visible on her face.
"EXPLAIN WHAT?!? THAT YOU ARE A CHEATER?!? SELL IT SOMEWHERE ELSE JOSH!" She snaps, the tears streaming faster and faster down her cheeks, causing her eyeliner to copy the salty tears.
"She doesn't even go to school here!" He screams at her, trying to cover his lie.
She returns to where he's standing and says in a much lower tone, "Then why was she here?" She chokes out the words, letting most of her pain fall into her tone. She tries to withdraw it from her now-weakened toned voice, but with no luck.
"She's my neighbor! My car broke down and she gave me a ride!" he replies back. She can tell that this isn't a well-covered lie; just by the way his voice is hesitant.
"Why were you kissing her?" She whispers through her sobs. He opens his mouth to answer, but no words exits his mouth.
Lilly walks closer to Joshua, getting in his face and looks him deep in the eyes, wiping her tears.
The pain reflects into his eyes from hers. Lilly studies his face, getting the message he is nervous of her reaction to the sad end of his lie. "We're. Done." She says, putting all the anger and hurt she has ever felt from him into her tone and starts speeding away from him.
She can barely see out of the blur of her tears. As a result, she collides with a tall , very handsome guy wearing a muscle shirt and shorts. He is wearing faded red Converses just like Lilly's. He has piercing green eyes and blonde hair with a touch of light brown freckles on his nose.
"I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I wa--" they both say in sync. Suddenly their eyes meet, cutting them off.
Lilly feels a special feeling when they study each other's eyes. It's something she can't explain. Looking down to study his legs, Lilly notices their similar shoes and smirks, still looking down at them.
"Hey, nice shoes" he says. They both smile at each other as if he was an angel and she was his goddess.
