Timothy has been at a jewel store, buying an engagement ring. "Can I see this one?" He asked. The clerk took the ring out, as he viewed it. It was a full black ring in creased with black diamonds. "I'm gonna get it." He would give the ring back to the clerk. He then went up to the front of the store, as the ring was put in a case. He gave the clerk his credit card, and the clerk took it. She swiped the card, as she gave the ring, and his credit card back to him.
He then went back to the apartment, that him and Eugene shared. "Hey there." Eugene had been sitting down on the couch, drinking wine and watching TV.
"So.... You wanna go out to dinner tonight?" He went and flopped on the couch, putting his arm around him.
"Where at?" Eugene asked as he got up to go wash out his glass.
"The Poinsettia. I'm paying." He said.
"Oh, alright. You wanna sit around.. or do something else?" Eugene went up behind him, giving him a shoulder massage.
"Nah, not right now." He said. "Maybe tonight?"
"Mhm." Eugene said back.
"How about we go sit around at the bar for a little bit. I think Sandra's over there for right now." He said. "And it's probably happy hour."
"Your very resourceful, you know that right?"
"That's why you love me." He got up, and gave Eugene a kiss on the lips. Eugene got his jacket, and his keys, as they walked out of their apartment. They held hands as they walked down to the bar. Timothy opened the door for Eugene, and Eugene walked inside of the bar. They both went to go sit on the bar stools, as they ordered the highest drinks that they had. They stayed there for about two more hours, and then they went down to The Poinsettia.
The host seated them at a table, as they ordered their food. "So, why did you take me out tonight?" Eugene asked.
"Because, one you asked, and two, for this." Timothy got out of his chair, as he got down on one knee. "Eugene Yang, you've been the love of my life for these few months and Eugene God damn it, I love you." He took the ring out of his pocket, and opened the box. "Will you marry me?" He asked him.
Eugene started to tear up, "I-I do." Timothy slid the ring on his finger, as he shot up, kissing him. People around started to clap, and the kissing went on for about two minutes. They then went back to sit down, as they both went back to eat. When they were done eating, they went back home. Now, they were Eugene and Timothy Ah'Jahnz.
