Three days. That was how long you had been on the run with him. The mission was a simple one, go up to the mountains use this experimental equipment that Shuri invited to spy on rouge H.Y.D.R.A agents that were trying to weasel their way into Wakanda, report back the findings. Well, that was the plan at least until a snowstorm moved, than when you got to the base it was practically empty. In turn you and the White Wolf had been playing keep away from the agents who had a showdown with you in the adjoining woods. The equipment, well lets just say it wasn't her greatest invention. Especially since the only thing it did was squeal loudly giving away your location. However, you had both made it out without a starch, but the tneson of the mission had left you both snapping at each other causing a rift between you two.

Now the only thing you wanted was a hot bath, a change of outfit and a warm room to crash in. None which was in sight at the moment. You tread through the snow behind a man that you currently had a love hate relationship with, one Mr. Bucky Barnes. He walked ahead of you his broad shoulders swaying back and forth as he trudged along the decalent hillside, his only goal in mind the safe house located in the tree clearing nestled in the Wakanda mountain side. You let out a sigh finally seeing the safe house come into view. The sight giving you a renewed sense of energy, especially if it meant getting away from him just for a little while. Yes, normally you would do anything to be around that man. However, when he was in his sergeant mode he was hard to deal with, no make that almost impossible to deal with. You stopped behind him for a moment to shift the equipment bag you had hug on your back. The weight of it becoming more and more uncomfortable with each step you took. Somehow Bucky sensed you had stopped and looked back at you with a gruff look. His lips were pressed together in a hardline his eyebrows knitted together tightly. You in turn cocked your head to the side at him and rolled your eyes a frown etched on your lips. The closer got the your achieved goal the more you liked it, in fact you took off in a run passing up the White Wolf himself so you could get to the house even sooner. You stopped only for a moment to hold out your wrist the bracelet on it acting like a key to safety. With just one swipe across the keypad the door locks clicked allowing you to open the door talking the first look at your new surroundings.

You had to admit that at first glance the single king size bed didn't look all that bad. Especially since both of you were dead on your feet after trudging through the cold and the snow for what seemed to feel like hours. At least the safe house was warm and inviting. The last occupant had left the single room warm and clean which said a lot given the fact the last place you two had stayed had dirt everywhere and smelt like old socks. Nevertheless you looked at the bed and sighed as you stepped into the small room. The sound of heavy footfall right behind you. He cleaned his throat so you could realize that he was there standing behind you still outside in the cold. You rolled your eyes and step inside and to the left of the bed depositing your gear beside it with a thud.

"That's no way to treat prices worth of equipment," he grumbled as he stacked his in a neat pile by the small couch before moving to rummage through the kitchen cabinets.

"For your information this prices equipment you are so worried about honey almost got us killed," you huffed as you sat down on the bed watching him move about the kitchen area of the small room.

"So now I'm honey interested of what did you call me earlier an pomass drill sergeant," he tone still has crisp as yours. You glared at him as he downed the water and move to sit on the opposite side of bed from you. He untied his boots pulling them off of his feet as they fall to the floor with a thud. "I hate you," you sassed looking down at him as you made your way over to the kitchen now trying to find food from your grumbling stomach coming across a package of protein bars and a few cans of soup. You opened up one of the protein bars for yourself and turned around throwing the other one at him which he easily caught with one hand. Bucky gave you a smirk.

"No sugar that's Sam," he said correcting you. Your hands tighten around the bar as you stared at him unamused.

"No Sam would be nicer company in this situation," you deadpan.

"Really Y/N? And I'm not?"

"No Sergeant Barnes right now you are not," you state with a hiss causing him to look at amusement at you. "We've been on the run for three days. I just want a hot shower and rest." You stated your lips drawn up into a pout.

"You know if you keep pouting like you are I may have to reconsider my proposal," he says half joking at you trying to lighten the mood and get you to smile. Oh how he loves your smile. He looks down and pulls off his damp socks pushing them into his shoes.

"Too late we're already married remember," you sass as he looks up, as you wiggle your ring finger at him. "Besides it would be too hard to break in another man after having you around for five years." He rolls his eyes at you and gets up making his way to the shower stripping off his clothing as he goes giving you a little floor show. You can't help but stare at him. His scuppered back is very impressive but what really does it for you is his strong arms. You love them. Especially his left especially now that Shuri has given it golden strips.
