Mom: Girls dinners ready

Avery: Coming!

Me and Zoey walked downstairs to see mom and Jaxon putting the plates down on the table

Zoey: Where's Mr West

Mom: You know you can call him Dan right

Zoey: I know but I'm used to calling adults by their last name and mr or mrs/ms in front

Mom: Oh but he's away for business speaking of that I have to go to Chicago for business

Avery: For how long and when

Mom: Around a week and i'm leaving tomorrow around noon

Jaxon: So i gotta stay by myself. With them. Babysitting me??

Mom: No well yes

Zoey: Were not "babysitting you" but we're going to be taking care of you yes

Jaxon: Can i at least meet this "Maverick" and "Cash" dude mom said y'all met

Avery: Were going to be hanging out tomorrow so yes if you want to you can

Jaxon: Sweet!

Mom: By the way no drinking, parties or whatever teens do now a days while i'm gone

Zoey: Wait if your going to be gone for a Week. Does that mean you'll miss Avery's birthday

Mom: I tried moving it but they wouldn't let me

Avery: So your just going to ditch me for work?

Mom: I tried changing it but i couldn't

Avery: What's more important. Me or work

Mom stayed silent

Mom: I'm sorry

Avery: Unbelievable

I said while throwing my fork down and walking out of the house and walking down the sidewalk don't even know where i'm going. I went on snap and turned my location off completely but the only people who could see it was Zoey and Jaxon. I eventually walked all the way to Cash and Mavericks house and I seen Lani outside

Avery: Hey

Lani: Hey?

Avery: You probably don't know me but i'm Avery West daughter of Dan West and me and my friend Zoey brought the boys home earlier

Lani: Ok 2 things first your the girl who brought them sorry about that

Avery:It's fine. My house is just down the block

Lani: And second. Your the Dan West's daughter?!

She said kinda excited. My dads a pretty big deal. He owns a record company for some of the most famous artists out there today

Avery: Yes

Lani: Omg it's a dream talking to you. Did the boys know it ??

Avery: I ain't for sure

Lani: Want me to get them

Avery: It doesn't matter

Lani: Well follow me

She said while walking into their house and I followed
