~30 minutes later~

I couldn't sleep, so i decided to text maverick

A few minutes later maverick came through my door and laid down with me

Avery: this has been a hell of a week and it's not even halfway started

Maverick: Yeah, but it'll all be okay in the end

We both talked for a few more minutes then went to sleep

~NEXT MORNING~

I woke up with my head on Mavericks chest while him holding me. i tried getting out of his grip but it was no use. so i just laid there and almost went back to sleep when he started stroking my hair

Maverick: Goodmorning

Avery: Morning

I said with a slight yawn

Maverick: You still tired?

Avery: No not really

Maverick: Oh

Avery: Yeah.

I said while trying to get up

Maverick: Where are you going ?

Avery: I was going to get ready then make breakfast

Maverick: Im comfy though. Don't leave me

Avery: I'm giving you 5 minutes

Maverick: Okay

Me and Maverick laid there for maybe 10 or 15 minutes, longer than i anticipated for us to be then i started to get up

Avery: i'm making breakfast and you can't stop me

I said while running into the bathroom to get ready

Maverick: Nooo-

He said as i was shutting the door and getting ready

Maverick: UGH I was comfortable

He said while Throwing a pillow at the door

Avery: Oops sorry not sorry

I said with the door still closed and continuing to get ready

Avery just got up. i was comfy

She said with the door still closed. I'm going to be honest. I love this girl with my whole heart

I finally decided to get up when she walked out of the bathroom ready for the day

Maverick: Dang

Avery: Yeah i know

She said with a spin while walking over grabbing her phone

Avery: Also breakfast will be ready in 20 minutes i'm fixing pancakes

She said while walking out of the door to go downstairs to make food
