I can't be saved, not even just a little

His fingers gripped the paper, which is probably as soft as a tissue now.

I slowly felt my back brush the cold, desk chair that has been holding me captive for the past twenty minutes just to stare at Mr. Forbs while he rambled about how my grades 'improving' mean none other than the fact that I am cheating.

"I'm going to ask you again, Kobly. You, out of all people, can't just walk in here like you own the place and out of nowhere receive better grades than you have ALL YEAR."

He slammed my math quiz in hand on the table infront of me, the big noise echoing throughout the deserted classroom.

Did he think he was scaring me?

My body language must have done it's own thing

His eyebrows furrowed even more,

"Am I laughing?" he asked

It was always something with this guy. He was either holding me after class for zoning out, or supposedly talking in class, not being attentive..

"Yeah, I AM LAUGHING. Because this is a joke!"

I quickly got up, making the chair move due to my actions, making Mr. Forbs move with it.

I shoved my history book in my bag

"Go ahead and run, you little tramp. Nothing will come for you when you cheat, steal and lie."

I felt the door frame hang over my head. I stopped in my tracks.

Don't do it, Nina...

"Now you listen to me, you fat, cold-hearted, I live in my mom's basement piece of shit!"

His smirk soon dissapeared and a peak of red rose on his face

I stood behind a desk just so it can stand in my way and block me from jumping on him and ripping his face off,

"I get it, you don't like me. I don't like you that much either. Just because my aunt Debbie didn't want to date you..."

he stood up from his desk in protest but I made him let me finish,

"...this is ridiculous..."

there was a pause and out of all times, I, of course..

I started to choke up

this was my chance, why did I not know what to say?

My body started to sway back and forth, just to make me realize that he wasn't worth it.

I gripped my bag to turn towards the door; creaking with every inch. I took one look back to see him still staring at me..

"By the way, It's Dr. Kobly, thank you very much."

I shut the door behind me with triumph, especially when wind came from the slam that blew in my hair.

Okay, I know I am about 10 years too far from being called "Doctor" but telling my teacher who's boss can be a start.

Walking up to the exit doors I start to see Dean at the bottom of the stairs, sitting down.

I knew he soon heard me. He stood up and turned around gleaming.

"what are you smiling about?" I asked

"I have the arena today.. remember?"

he started to walk ahead of me not even caring or giving me time to catch up.
