I waited for her on the top of the library. This was it. The table was set, music playing, all that was left was Seth leading her up. I checked my watch, 4:30. The last class ended thirty minutes ago. She'll be here soon. The door handle turned, and I stood in position, ready to see her. I heard her voice "are we even allowed up here?" And Seth's response "no but I called in a favor." Favor? More like begged for an hour before Marcy, a friend of mine, let us borrow the roof. She's a new children's librarian. Telling her we'd babysit her three little devils for free convinced her. The door opened and out stepped Alyssa and Seth. "Warren?" She said, perplexed. "Hi, Alyssa." Standing there looking at how beautiful she was made my knees weak. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "So what's all this?" She asked her lips curving into a smile. "Um, th-this is me standing here i-in front of you and a table of food for the two of us." Her eyes sparkled. "What does this mean Warren?" I felt my face go white. "Uh, um, uh. W-well I li-like you and iwaswonderingifyouwoulddateme. Becauseireallylikelikeyoualot." I felt the blush explode onto my face. She smiled and whispered yes. I gave her an iris (a flower that reminds me of her) and offered my arm and we went to the table. It had been covered with all of her favorite food i knew of.
