[6]Stay Away

~3rd P.O.V~

Dream look at him with a sad expretion, waiting for his answer. Tender looking down slightly before saying "He commited suicide..." He say sadly. Dream widen his eyes, he never tought something like this is his brother's problems... 'this is gonna be hard' he tought to him self, getting over someones suicide isnt easy, especialy when is someone close to them. Other then that he also feel bad for this Error guy, he question him self what couldve driven him to commit suicide? He then look over at tender and relise something. Could it be that he IS Error? He shook his head and tought to him self that he couldnt be. He knew Tender well though they only knew each other for a few days, he is positive someone like him would never do such thing. He pat tenders shoulder "I'll help you learn more about him" Tender look up at him and smile. They're both gonna find this out, they both share the same question in their mind. It is very odd that only a few amount of people would remeber this and most dont have any memory of the tragedy, dream also find it odd that he him self doesnt remeber. He is the god of positivaty he would always help who ever feel that close to the edge, not to mention he is also a guardian to the multiverse, he knew almost everyone...but how can he not know this one?

Weeks have passed, Dream and tender indeed have been doing research about it yet they have find anything they asked almost every au that posibly exist. They do believe the find something in outertale, sadly Outer (outertale sans) seem to refuse to tell them anything, he keep getting angry and almost cry 3 times, so they decide to leave him be and try to find someone else. Dream is planing to talk to Blue about it when they meet up but they never get the chance to due to blue always busy destroying, but they do text each other more often so dream dont realy mind. Tender for the pass few weeks did get closer to nightmare and his team mate, they even got used to tender coming at night that they prepare a little snack for all of them when they talk to each other once tender came at night. Tough they are close now tender still havent show his form to them, he still not sure about it, but its also because he is used to being in the doll that he kinda forgot because of all the fun he is having with them.

Today dream is on patrol again with tender, and like always dream would ask the world Sans/papyrus/toriel (depens on the au) if they have any information about Error yet they didnt get anything. Then next au they are going to patrol now is Underlust. They walk around and stay hidden, they try to find Lust and ask him, but lust is no where to be found "hm...i wonder where Lust is" dream say as he look around. Tender think for a moment then remember something "maybe he's with horror" he say , dream turn his head towards him is suprise and confusion "with horror?" (Yes, i ship bloodlust. Fite meh) He asked, Tender nodded "yeah. I saw him with horror a few times when i visited nightmare" dream nodded "then i guess we'll have to ask him another time. So its Outer and lust that we have to go back to" Dream said and tender nodded. After that they continue patroling aus and talking to each other. Near night time dream got a phone call from Doc (medicaltale sans), he picked up the call "Hello?" Dream notice how worried doc sounds, before he could ask Doc said "Dream,can you come here pls?..like,right now" dream tolf him he would. Doc end the call and dream put his phone away with a comfused expretion. Tender notice and ask "what is it dream?" Dream look at him "Doc want me to go to medicaltale right now, i dont know why but it sound important" he say as he open aportal to medicaltale and got trough it with Tender following behind him. Doc is already infront of them, he told them to follow him and they did. "So...whos your friend?" Dream smile and reply "He's Tender Doc. Also..why did you call me here?" Dream ask, Doc frown alittle before answering "its ink..." Dream expretion turn from cheerful to shocked. They stop at one of the hospital room, Doc sigh and open the door sign dream and Tender to get inside. When they got inside Dream gasp and run to the hospital bed. There lies ink, a huge crack on his skull, his left arm seems like its been broken into half, he has a cast on his right leg and bandages... many bandages wraped around his rib cage. Dream know ink would often got injured badly after a fight but he never saw ink got injured this bad. "I saw him fall trough his portal infrot of the hospital, he passed out before he could get inside. We already change his badage 3 times he lost alot of blood. He need a long time to recover" Doc said, Dream look at him "Who would do this?!" Doc sigh, before replying "i found nightmare's goo when we were cleaning his wounds..." dream went silent, ink have fight nightmare before, theres no way because ink never got hurt this bad ...unless nightmare got really mad. He rember how he was close to death fighting nightmare when he's mad luciky he escaped. Now that dream think of it... he look over and tender. After spending time with for a few weeks he know that tender's soul actually work like a living monster soul, He can eat normal food, he can have physical contact... he can also get hurt. "Thanks for helping him Doc. Can i company him tonight? Just to makesure nothing happen?" Doc nodded and gream give him a pitty smile before looking back at ink. "Is youre friend gonna stay here too?" Dream look at tender before replying to Doc "yeah...if thats ok" Doc nodded before leaving the room. Later that night dream is sitting next to tender on the chair near the hospital bed, he look at him and when he's about to say something tender stood up "I gotta go for a while dream, cya lat-" tender didnt get to finish his sentance when dream cut him off "I dont think you should go today..." dream sigh. Tender ask why and dream look at him with concern "Tender you may be a ghost but...you can be like a living being...that mean you could get hurt, and after what happen to ink i dont think its a good idea. What if he's still mad and accidently hurt you?" Tender went silent, dream was right but for some reason he still complains "But i need to go back there, they might be worried!"
"Tender its not safe!"

"Ill be fine! He wont hurt me. Im sure of it!"

"Why are you arguing with me? Its not like i banned you from coming there ever again, just for tonight. Cmon, you only know them for a few weeks what make you feel that you have to go back there every night, why is it so important that you dont care about your own safety?"

They both went quiet. Tender think for a while before before looking back at dream.

"I...dont know"

Dream look confused at the answer. Tender speak once again "i dont know, it just...feel like i have too. Like i belong there. I feel something familiar when i hang out with them" after that Dream sigh and pat his shoulder "im sorry but its for your own good you cant go there. Just for tonight, nightmare might still be in a bad mood. Please..im just worried about you" tender look down and sit back down on the chair. He look back up at dream a gave a small smile "ok...sorry" dream return the smile "its ok"

It is almost midnight yet theres no sign of tender coming to the castle anytime soon. Everyone there got abit upset but they know there must be something he must do or theres some small problem so they could understand if he wasnt coming tonight. As for nightmare, he is overly worried he was still on his bad mood after what ink did and said and having tender would make him better sadly he didnt came and since nightmare didnt think long he decide to go out searching for him. The other try to stop but it only end up with nightmare getting more angry then before, they decide to search for him together. As silly as it can be, as much time they have spend time together they dont really tell each other that much information on their self such as where they live, where they often go, even their pass. That is why they are now searching by guessing the au they think he would like from what he shared. They all search for hours and hours going trough every noticable au they can find and all of them are getting tired except for nightmare. While they are now walking behind him killer is the first to speak up "Boss...its already really REALLY late...were tired. We cant keep going... you are worrying to much. Im sure he's fine maybe he have something inportant to do or something else" dust then mubbled "and maybe he's scared of you when he find out about ink..." nightmare the stoped. Dust maybe mubbled those words but nightmare can hear him clearly, he got even more angry yet worried. He already felt comfortable with tender, he felt trust...he is really close tho theyre only friends for a short period of time. He cant really get mad at what dust say since its also his fault for not being able to control is temper at that fight but he still is. He grab dust with his tentacle and throw him far behind...catching up with them will make him more tired thats enough for nightmare "Fine...we can go back home after one more place" Dust finaly land on the ground far behind the groub, a small "Oof" can be heard from behind them. "Ok but where?" Cross said. Nightmare think for a while but then relize something , if he know about ink he could either be with dream or close to ink. He saw ink drop down trough his own portal to medictale and knowing Doc he cant just call anyone he must've called dream about it. "Were checking dream's house" nightmare is aware of his team mate looking at him questionably, he never liked dream and everyonw knows. When he mention dream's house everyone was shocked and before anyone said anything and before dust catch up he say "lets just get it over with so we all can rest". They all left to dream's house with dust following far behind them. After a while they reach the house all the lights are off so they asume dream is either out or asleep. Nightmare sneek in and look around the empty rooms while looking he found something odd. There planty of chocolate wrapings on the trash can, he knew dream would never eat that much chocolate or maybe this is proof that he has some one here. He continue to look around and found more than one thing thats not right here, books about ghost and how any soul work after death, sewing items, more chocolate (i have too ok '-') then dream would ever have before. This either mean dream got obssed with chocolate, have intrest in sewing and creepy facts about ghost and afterdeath ( anyone? -.w-.) Or he's trying to find out something and have people staying over, more then one or someone whose obssed with chocolate and another thing that comes in mind is that... Can Error still be Alive and he's with dream all this time?....
