The Kingdom In The Woods

Chapter 4

    Kyro stood up, "Who are you?" He asked the girl. The girl stood up and had a confused face. "Who?"
    "How do you not remember me?" The girl started to get angry. "I saved your life. You died and I revived you. You were my best knight, and the youngest. We were best friends."
    Kyro was very confused. "Who are you?"
    "Im Ella, now tell me something. Do you remember where we are?" Ella backed up a bit as if she was scared of Kyro.
    "No I don't." Kyro stepped towards her and said. "Where are we?"
    "Right now you aren't anywhere." Ella started to fade. "I'm not even real." She completely disappeared. "Can you hear me,  Kyro?"
    "Yes."
    "There's a way out of the room. Follow the stripes. Remember the tip of the spears. Don't go through the door." Ella's voice was very ominous as it echoed through the room. Kyro walked towards where the monsters exploded and looked for anything they left behind. He saw two teeth and a spear. He looked at the tip and saw that it was blue. The room started to glow with many stripes leading in different directions.
    "Remember the spear." The voice echoed again. Kyro picked up the spear and it collapsed down into a tiny pole. The pole had a button on it and green lines that seemed as if energy was flowing through it. There was a tiny engraving on it that said "Jobasco"
    He looked up to the stripes throughout the room and followed the green one. The stripe was very short and led to a dead end. There was a poem written on the wall in a different language, but there was one word that stuck out the most. "Don't" It was written in perfect english. Kyro brushed it off as nothing, turned around and followed the green line back.
    He got back to the main area and followed a blue line that lead him through many doors. "Kyro, you are doing well." The voice echoed through a corridor that he walked into. "Kyro, look out!" He heard scuffling behind him. He turned around and saw six tiny lizards.
    "What's there to be afraid of?" Kyro knelt down and reached out. The lizards made a hiss and then exploded in his face. Kyro blacked out and woke up in the same pool as before.
    "Ella. What happened?" Kyro said getting up from the pool. Kyro was perfectly dry again. "Ella." Kyro checked to see if he still had the spear, he did.
    "Kyro, you need to stop dying." Ella stood up from the same chair. "The door is still there Kyro! Hurry up before it closes again." Kyro sprinted up the stairs and made it to the door. He turned the handle and it was locked. "The key is in the same room as the lizards." Kyro turned around and followed the blue line. Kyro ran into the room. The lizards jumped up at Kyros face, Kyro threw them off pulled out the spear. The spear expanded into massive spear with blue goop running down the side. Kyro stabbed the first lizard. The lizard exploded into blue dust. Four scales plopped down from the dust.Two more lizards flew towards him. Time slowed down around him. He stabbed the lizards in a very swift movement.
    "Good job kyro. One more room to go." Ella's voice pierced his ears. Kyro headed towards a corridor but something dropped from the ceiling. "Kyro, you must scan your hand. That is the key. It will open the door." Kyro walked up to the thing that dropped. It was a pedestal like object. He placed his hand up to the object. The object turned blue and launched back up into the sky. Doors opened up and Kyro continued to the next room.
    Kyro walked in. The room was very dark with an eerie feeling. "You finally made it."
"Ella, What are you doing here?" Ella stepped forward towards Kyro.
"You need to fight me to prepare for what's next." Ella came forward and was holding a shield, sword and blue clothing. "Take these."
"Why do I have to fight you?"
"The next room that you are going to enter has a beast named Eox. He is the strongest beast that you will have to fight here, in the Room of Resurrection. He has two different weapons. He has a ball and chain and fire blast. Use the shield to block the fire blast, one more thing about the blast is that they are massive. Wear these clothes to give you an extra boost in your jump. Jump up when he is about to swing. When he swings the ball and chain there will be a five second window to swing the sword and knock him down. When he is down, jump on him and stab him in the eye." Ella gave Kyro the equipment. He put on the blue clothing. He grabbed the shield and the sword. "Are you ready?" Kyro gave her a nod.
Ella stepped back and flew into the air. She transformed into Eox. She grew huge and changed into a gray figure. A ball a chain came out of her hand. "Let's go Kyro."
