What an Interesting Event Part 8

Aoi

Maybe around midnight or so, I woke up in a strange house, on the couch with a blanket laying on top of me. The room wad dark of course and I assume everyone was sleeping. Well I guess except one. The inkling boy was playing on his 3Ds, with his gas mask on. It's one of the of S4 members! I sat up and suspiciously looked through his gas mask. He notices me, revealing his face by taking off his mask. "So you're up..." he quietly murmurs, turning off his Ds to even talk to me. "What am I even doing at your house?" I ask in confusion. "Well... you were left on the streets so the least we could do was take you in," the cyan boy explains. "Mmm... I see," I nod. "By the way... The name is Mask," Mask introduces himself. I smile tiredly, "Aoi..." I tell him as I fell back asleep.

It was the morning, all I could remember was having a nice introduction with Mask last night. Mask was asleep by me on the loveseat, and I'm guessing everyone hasn't fully awaken yet. I laid like a log for a bit, thinking about how I even got in this dimension. It was all a blur. For a while I didn't have any thing to eat, stealthily I came to see what they had to eat. I start snooping in the fridge, "Hungry are you?" A voice comes behind me, which made me jump. I close the fridge in a fright and whipped to see the orange inkling of the S4 behind me. "G-Gomenasai..." I apologize in advance. "You can't apologize for actually starving, that's like saying you're sorry for slipping..." the inkling smirk, my face became hot with embarrassment.

"Well since you're our guest, what would you like to eat?" The Orange inkling asks, I shrugged, "what can you make?" He started listing things off on his fingers, "well uh, curry, curry, and pretty much only things that are curry, I have no other cooking skills." I shrugged again, "curry it is." he gets out the ingredients and pot out ready to use. "So, what is your name?" He asks as he starts to cook. "Aoi..." I reply. "Aoi huh? Such a bland name for someone as pretty as you..." he shrugs. "Huh thanks... what's your name?" "Army," he confidentially replies. "Hmm that's an unusual name for an inkling such as yourself..." I simper. Army was silent, probably because I roasted him, or he was to focused into his cooking. He whips out a plate and hands me a plate full of curry. "Thank you..." I smile, the curry looked really good. I went in to take a bite, and all of the flavor bursts in my mouth, and that's how curry should be made.

This could of been the empty stomach, but I wanted more, I ate more and probably almost the whole thing. "When was the last time you ate?" Army worryingly asks. "I don't know..." I sigh. "Mmm not good... not at all.." Army mutters. I start to feel this cold breeze embracing me, which was utterly uncomfortable. In a glance I saw a piano, and in natural instinct I walked over to it. "Ah? You caught interest of our grand piano?" Army notices me walking there. "I've always been attracted to instruments..." I mutter, I then see a violin case.

I open to see a red wood violin, polished shiny and could blind Inkopolis if it wanted to. "Do you even play violin?" I asked as I was about to test it out. "Yeah, but I never connected to it like I did with piano. I pull out the bow and played a random song. Cantabile by Paganini is what I started playing, and what brought me to surprise Army actually start to duet with me. And the right arrangement too.

It was nice to know that Inklings can be skilled like humans, I mean they basically are humans just with squid or other sea creature touches. I think that me and Army woke up all of S4, because they were watching us play randomly. We finished up the song, I ignore their claps as I put the good quality violin back into it's case. "Huh... never knew could play..." Army awes. "Thanks..." I chuckle. "Sorry... if I woke you guys up..." I apologize to the rest of S4, but they said that it was a sweet alarm clock. I start shivering more, this uniform was still uncomfortable and always made me feel frozen. My body starts shaking uncontrollably, especially my fingers which were glitching. This made them worried, "Aoi? You alright? You seem odd..." Mask, who was clipping on his mask again looks at me. "...yeah, just a bit cold is all..." I beam through this weird sensation. It suddenly stops. "It would make sense, with that stripper uniform you have on..." Aloha points out. Looking at it, it did seem like one actually, maybe that's how the leader designed him. Whoever they are, they're real pervs.

"Do Octolings have strip joints or something.. WAIT! Are you a stripper?!" Aloha jumps to conclusions in a flash. "Hah in your dreams," I snicker, which all of S4 starts blushing.

Maybe with the money that Off the Hook lended to me I could buy better clothes than this whats now called "stripper apparel". "Mmm, maybe we should get out today... I have my own errands to attend to," I start looking for the money in my pockets, which was now non existent. "You seem broke though," Skull shrugs. It's like he saw through me. "I swear I just had money a second ago..." I even looked through my shoes. "You know, we could just buy for you," Mask suggests. "Oh no, I don't want you guys to pay for me... that's too much to ask," I assure them. "We offered so it's fine," Army sighs. "As long as you're okay with it fine..." I felt too tired to argue them, but we went to the square. Though I never met the other workers for other buildings such as for gear, I just hope that they weren't as bad as Sheldon. "Welp, we're here~" Aloha points out. "Alright... I won't be long... hopefully," I started heading in to Jelfonzo's boutique. A small Jellyfish as the owner waddles up to me. "Peculiar that an Octoling is in my shop~ but either way a customer is a customer~" he sounded like bubbles, but at least he didn't push me away. "Well well? What's your style? Vintage? Modern? Soulless Emo?" Jelfonzo helps me look for "my style" for a while.

Alyona

"HAH! You lost!" Goggles chuckles as randomly we were playing Go Fish. "Good game," I tried to not sound bummed, I got pretty competitive in anything honestly. "To make this interesting," Rider suddenly speaks. "How about winner decides a dare on the looser... I guess as in a punishment...?" Rider then smirks. "You honestly added that so you can watch me suffer huh?" I chuckle. "Nah, you're one of the people who don't get on my nerves..." Rider shrugs. "Alrighty a punishment!" Goggles smirks as he clapped his hands. Rider starts to sip his coke we bought at Crusty Sean's. Goggles views his surroundings, making his smirk grow wider. "Alrighty Alyona... you have to pole dance, right there," Goggles points behind me, a long and narrow pole, and I'm guessing perfect for strippers. "Kay," I accepted the challenge, which Rider's reaction was priceless. He starts to spit take, which I guess made Goggles and Bobble laugh their asses off. I went to that narrow pole and just started pole dancing.

If someone throws a dare at me, I won't leave it unfinished. I guess that's just how I am. A crowd was watching me pole dance, which was amazing yet a bit uncomfortable. One in the corner of my eyes faints while another had an enormous nosebleed. I even here a very distant choke, like how Aoi sounded. I finish pole dancing for maybe like 10 or so and people were mobbing me. "Move along she doesn't want your Girl Scout Cookies," Aloha suddenly jokes and people left in disappointment. "Alyonaaaa! Wow didn't even know that you would actually do it!" Goggles hugs me, and which I could tell that made Rider a bit jealous but to mess with his mind I hugged Goggles back. "Oh and heyo Aloha~" "Hiya Goggles, Alyona, Rider... the rest of you," Aloha waves to all of us. "Hey Aloha, Army just passed out," Skull awkwardly appears from who knows where. "That's worrisome..." Aloha sighs. "Well...? What do we do with him?" Skull asks. "Duh we gotta take him home now," Aloha flicks Skull's forehead. "What about-" "Knowing Mask he's gonna stay with her so it's fine Skull..." Aloha interrupts, taking Skull's and to retrieve Army.

"Hmm? Mask with a girl? That's a surprise..." Rider murmurs to himself, which I perfectly heard. Maybe that girl was Aoi... this sudden feel of excitement and eagerness filled me like a balloon. "Aoi..." I accidentally said aloud, viewing my surroundings. I tried using wingding but lately hasn't been working at all since I came here. "Aoi?"
