( New Orleans )

IN THE 21ST CENTURY, THE MIKAELSONS SOMEHOW WERE STILL RELEVANT, EVEN AFTER A THOUSAND YEARS SINCE THEIR OWN TRAGEDIES. Niklaus Mikaelson had made sure of that, with his growing desire to be the king of New Orleans. And he had in time but many tribulations had followed in it's wake. Well, before & after.

He wound up with a daughter, formed even more hate but love filled bonds with his family, discovered his once thought dead elder sister & somehow had made many more horrible choices amongst the way. His life leading up to that had been quite interesting and it had barely been the beginning.

In the time that the mother of his baby had returned from a curse of his family's doing whilst being on thin ice with his siblings, he had to work with his once adoptive son, Marcel and the enigmatic Leon plus the tough Raymond Jean. They were all determined to find a particular Warlock in their city, even if a war would brew once more.

In the midst of their research, they found a club, one occupied with far too many supernatural beings on one night. The club had been named 'LUX', a particularly confusing name choice.

"You sure this is the place?" Leon had asked as the four stood outside the door, not expecting it to be that predictable.

"I'm sure, Leon" he emphasized the last part, slightly annoyed that the legitimacy of the info was being questioned.

"I'm just saying, Ray—"

"I will claw your face off if you say another god damn thing about my informa—"

"Could you two stop the old married couple act?" Marcel interrupted, already tired of their antics.

"For once, I agree" Niklaus chimed in before kicking down the door that stood before them. Raymond grumbled at the Vampires' complaints as he followed Leon once he went forward.

They were quickly welcomed with the extravagant dancers placed around the place as  extremely upbeat music littered the place. Marcel & Klaus had only looked around in contempt. Both of them had thrown more exquisite gatherings that made the club seem like some toddler in comparison. Then, with their impeccable sight & hearing, they spotted the warlock as he sang while expertly handling a piano.

"All along the watchtower. Princes kept the view."

The man sang, his voice sounding like pure velvet, maintaining it's own perfection in a sense. Although, all wondrous things are usually put to a screeching halt, just like in that precise moment.

Leon had only snapped his right hand's fingers to implode the lights for a moment, startling just about every sober & drunk body. "Now, if you want to live, get the bloody hell out of here, you pathetic drunkards!" Klaus yelled out, keeping a harsh and malicious tone he always seemed to have. With a single look at who had shouted, just about every individual had rushed out, knowing not to defy the original hybrid.

"Oh, bloody hell."

"Now, we can finally get some peace and quiet in here, you filthy animal!" Marcel mocked as they strutted towards the now grimacing warlock at the piano.

"Marcellus Gerard, what a horrific displeasure to meet you at last" he sarcastically greeted. "And you brought the little kingship squad, how lovely."

"Not gonna run?" Leon questioned genuinely with the raise of his right eyebrow.

"That wouldn't be fun, now, would it?"

"Then, why don't we start this game off just right?" Raymond asked in a cocky tone before speeding over to him, getting a grip on him, startling the warlock. He could feel his claws protruding out of Raymond's hands, directly into his skin. But just as quickly, he was thrown off by the warlock's wave of a hand. He groaned as he collided with the wall but Leon & Marcel soon sped towards the mysterious man, intending to at least render him unconscious.

The three trade punches and hits almost equally, at least getting nasty but temporary scars. But as soon as the fighting becomes more treacherous, Klaus grows tired of what he saw, thinking it was more tomfoolery than anything.

He quickly sped over to the three, taking his own place behind the warlock and suddenly digging his fangs into the man's neck. He could feel his energy draining from him as he lost blood rapidly.

"You can't just threaten me, there's no reason I will undo it, you bastards!"

"Oh, trust me, mate. You'll want to."
