WITH ARABELLA ADIRA'S IMPRISONMENT IN PURGATORY, SHE NEVER EXPECTED TO BE SURPRISED WHEN SHE WAS CORNERED WITH SOMEONE SHE WAS PRACTICALLY HOLDING AT GUNPOINT. She found herself at another fire but this time, a familiar face seems to find his way to her. Of course, she had been surprised but readily assumed it was another of Eris' tricks.

She had encountered many faux Niklaus' and of course had either killed them or be killed but it hadn't been behaving the way she expected. It wasn't utterly sarcastic and sassy or completely snarky at first. He seemed to squirm like he was shocked.

"Arabella—"

"Just give it up, Eris. I've been here too long to be misguided by another fake."

"Then, why haven't you killed me yet?" he asked somewhat seriously, actually curious.

"You asking for a death wish, again? Only god knows how many times we've gone through this, time and time again."

"Oh, I have too many times but no one can properly do it, love."

"Just what is your aim?"

"To speak to an old friend again. Please, Arabella."

Something about his serious and pleading tone seemed different from the usual copy's she had spoken with. There was no hidden meaning or motive behind his words. It appeared to be genuine and that irked her. She, of all people, couldn't be tricked by now. Although, she had also wondered how the hell someone else, let alone Niklaus, could had infiltrated Purgatory.

With a reluctant huff, she draws back the spear to have it rest at her side. "Fine, I might as well just go along with whatever the fuck is happening."

He smirks at her decision as they walk on, not having a certain direction, Arabella leading the way. She had known the place like the palm of her hand and even deciphered some of the patterns Eris had created with his illusions and techniques.

"So, I see you've definitely changed, Bella" he inquires as they walk on, feeling the need to say something.

"Oh, what gave you that idea?" she sarcastically replied as they went on forward.

"I was just saying with it being so abundantly clear—" he began to reply before he could suddenly feel heavy breathe and claws dig into his chest. He looked up to see some wolf full of black fur and yellow but wild eyes. He was struggling to take it off him, it seeming to have an iron grip.

Arabella sighs as she trudges over to his struggle. She strikes her spear only to have it go through the wolf's skull, mere centimeters away from the hybrid's face. He stares up at her lack of hesitation or remorse. She sure as hell wasn't his Arabella. She draws it back just as quick as the wolf's corpse laid upon his body but manages to push it off him, easily enough.

"Shocked?"

"That'd be an understatement on my part."

"Well, that's expected, Niklaus."

"Why the formality? We aren't in a battle, love" he says right after, noticing she seemed to avoid his usually preferred nickname.

"I'm still in a damn battlefield."
