*Dominic's POV*
Rubbing my temples I sighed as my patience was begging to wear thin. It had been hours since the second part of the meeting started. The little interruption with Nikita and Clay had gotten us off track and right about now I would really like to hit that boy again. With all the commotion the other Alpha's couldn't constraint and when Jenna linked me to tell me Nikita was in a altercation with a teenage boy. She didn't even finish telling me what was going on before I was up and out of my seat. Watching Nikita with the boy Clay, I felt like my skin would burst open as I had to fight to keep Ace in control. I do have to admit that I felt so proud as I watched her. She truly was amazing is every way.
'Can we go see mate now?' Ace asked, his voice sounding tired. Seems he was just as sick of siting here as I was.
'Not yet.'
'But it's been hours.' He whined.
'Did you just whine.. like a puppy?' I asked in disbelief. What happened to the big bad Alpha wolf but then again he always had a stronger need to be with his mate.
'Shut up. Don't act like you don't miss her too.' His words were true and I hated that he was right. Nikita was constantly on my mind when I wasn't near her. It may have only been hours ago that I seen her, but I was already itching to see her beautiful face. The short time we had together up in the room was not enough for me, nor was the short time I spent with her to give introductions.
'See.' Ace said smugly.
"You can not be serious?" Glen questioned. "Do you really think using wolves as bait is a good idea?" More bickering had me focusing back on the conversation.
"You can not be serious?" Glen questioned. "Do you really think using wolves as bait is a good idea?"
"Well unless you have a better idea then please, enlighten me." Liza said as she leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest. I mentally groaned, knowing full well that this was going to turn into another long debate between the two alphas.
"Anything would be better than that absurd plan!"
"Then give me one!" Glen opened his mouth to speak but closed it again.
"That's what I thought. You have no idea about how to draw the rogues out." Liza smirked.
"If I did, it certainly wouldn't be some crazy plan that could get innocent people killed. You know, you really are a fucking psycho. I thought the rumors were just that, rumors but honestly. Now that I have met you, I can see why people say that." Liza's eyes flashed with anger as she stood from her chair and lunged over the table towards Glen.
Cursing under my breath, I shot up from my chair. Reaching out I yanked the back of Glen's chair to the side, flinging him and the chair to the corner behind me Liza landed in a crouched position at my feet. Snarling viciously as her nails became replaced with claws. Folding my arms over my chest I looked down at her, a blank look on my face.
"Liza." Her eyes met mine for a split second before landing back on Glen as he stood from his chair behind me.
"You psycho!" He exclaimed. Liza roared as she jumped to the side and sprung forward from her crouched position. Letting out an annoyed growl I quickly snatched the feisty she-wolf by the back of the neck as she passed. My large hand wrapping almost all the way around, as I held her in a tight grip. Liza flailed around wildly, trying to free herself from my grip.
"Alpha Glen." I said calmly, but inside I honestly wanted to let the she-wolf rip him to shreds right about now. He has proven to me more of a hindrance than any other wolf I know. Always arguing with anyone and everyone but at the same time, never having his own ideas to solve the problem. Closing my eyes I took a deep calming breath before opening them once again.
