"Okay. Wow, alright. Never had to follow a ghost before." Were Charlie's first words once the hologram of Weyland had properly dissipated into thin air. There was something about the joking tone and choice in words which caused Minerva's eyes to narrow. Sure, she had brief run-ins with Charlie Holloway before, back on Earth, but there was something...it wasn't like he was taking this all as a joke, but there was something rather comical feeling about how he just stood smiling away and rubbing his hands together. Also, if she was to be frank; she didn't like her father being called a ghost. That caused her nose to scrunch, she looked displeased. Yes, she had the distinct feeling, if anything, she was going to steadily dislike this man. Through her musings Minerva had zoned out of whatever else it was that Charlie was saying. Blinking and focussing her eyes, she looked down at the cube which was projecting imagery up into the air.

"These are images of archaeological digs from all over Earth. That's Egyptian, Mayan, Sumerian, Babylonian, that's Hawaiian at the end there and Mesopotamian." He said while looking over the images which were all rather similar in appearance. Much like everyone else, Minerva leaned forwards in her seat to get a better look at the images which were suddenly projecting. "Now, this one here is our most recent discovery, it's a thirty-five thousand year old cave painting from the Isle of Skye, in Scotland. These are ancient civilisations, they were separated by centuries, they shared no contact with one another, and yet..." Charlie's voice trailed off thoughtfully and distantly as his dark eyes narrowed slightly as he seemed to be getting lost in his thoughts for a moment. Shaking his head, he reached up and realigned the images, only to rapidly flick through them. "The same pictogram. Showing men worshipping giant beings pointing to the stars. This was discovered at every one of them. The only system that matched, was far from Earth, and that there's no way that these primitive ancient civilisations could have possibly known about it. But, it just so happens, that system has a sun, a lot like ours. Based on our long range scans, there seemed to be a planet. Just one planet, with a moon capable of sustaining life; and we arrived there this morning." Charlie said, all rather informatively as he looked at the small audience in front of him.

Everyone had been silent, not through being shocked of what he was saying, but more to try and process just what it was he was saying. It was all rather a lot to take on board, even more so for just being awake for less than an hour. The air was very heavy and thick with this awkward scepticism, there were a few glances exchanged but for the most part, everyone remained silent.

Although, that silence was suddenly broken by Fifield, who, although he probably didn't mean it, there was something a little comical about his words. If not for the blunt sarcasm, but because he truly sounded like he didn't rightly care. "So, you're saying we're here because of a map you two kids found in a cave, is that right?"

"No," Elizabeth spoke up at last. She had just been standing to one side, arms behind her back as Charlie had done the majority of the talking. Charlie on the other hand didn't sound so convinced as he stood mumbling a bit for an answer. "No. Not a map, an invitation." Elizabeth said with a rather determined tone. It truly sounded like she whole-heartedly believed in this.

"From whom?" Fifield asked, seems everyone else still had a sudden bout of silence. He leaned forwards in his seat slightly and rubbed his hands together looking at her with a small frown.

"We call them Engineers."

"Engineers?" Fifield was more edging towards scepticism here now, by the sound of his tone. Sure, he also sounded a little amused. It was not exactly the most creative of names, was it? "Do you mind telling us what they engineered?"

"They engineered us." Elizabeth stated so frankly that it was sort of hard not to slightly double take.

"Bullshit!" The mere thought of this was enough to cause the redhead to blurt this out as he shook his head.
