It was a bit of a team effort, Elizabeth was instructed on stripping back certain wires within Minerva's arm, whereas David did the same with the ones coming from her shoulder. The plastic was quite easy to get rid of, all for the sake of making sure the wiring underneath was intact enough to reattach her arm. If anything was severely damaged, David hated to say it, but she wouldn't have her arm back. He was operating on the side of optimism here though. He was more than certain that with his skills, and what new skills Elizabeth was showing where robotics was involved, that they'd be able to reattach the limb, and much like himself, Minerva would be as good as new-ish.

The sparsely lit room was silent, Elizabeth was too busy concentrating on not messing anything up, and David didn't quite know what to say. Minerva seemed equally awkward, they had all been separated for so long, interacting again was going to be odd, hard even. Especially considering Elizabeth presumed she was instantly going to be murdered. Showed how much trust was really there, she couldn't trust the pair of them as much as she could throw them clearly, and that wouldn't even be too far if she tried.

"I'm bored." David's eyes flicked sidelong, Minerva just looked up at the ceiling, she made a popping noise before turning her head to look at him.

"I can't do anything about that."

Minerva frowned, "You could talk to me."

"What would you like to talk about?" David offered, shining a small torch into the gap of her shoulder, each wire he had tied off separately, he was able to detangle them all and everything was luckily intact.

"I don't know."

"See, how can I help you there?" David put the torch down and picked up a small pair of pliers. Something was obstructing a piece of metal which would technically lead to a mechanical bone in her arm.

Minerva frowned, looking to Elizabeth, she sighed. "What's with the serious face?" She asked, honestly, Elizabeth's expression was so dead-panned serious that Minerva wondered what the reason for it was. She hadn't seen that expression on the doctor's face before.

Elizabeth paused in her work, "This is new to me. I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm just hoping I'm doing it right."

"You're doing fine." David smiled over at her while shining the torch back into the hole, lifting the pliers he took to rummaging to get rid of the obstruction.

Elizabeth just raised an eyebrow. David wasn't even overseeing what she was doing, he didn't even look at her as he spoke. How on Earth he knew she was doing a good job, Elizabeth didn't know. Minerva just had this look on her face, and Elizabeth clocked it and it registered to her; that despite David seemingly uninterested by Elizabeth's work, she was clearly being watched, she just didn't realise it.

"And anyway, if it doesn't go to plan, I can live with one arm." Minerva said casually. "What do I need two hands for? Not like I plan on doing any handstands or anything."

David just frowned at her, "Can you hold still?"

Minerva didn't even know she was shuffling about on the table, yet she nodded. She looked back to Elizabeth. "Come here," gently holding out her hand, she gestured it to Elizabeth. She had been working down the other end of the table. Elizabeth picked up the arm, and the tools she was using, and bought it to Minerva.

David had to stop what he was doing as Minerva pulled her arm into her lap, gripping on, she unceremoniously yanked at the fake skin and even with one hand, picked up a scalpel beside David and sliced through the faux muscles in her arm. Elizabeth just stood looking slightly shocked, again, that she'd so casually rip and tear at body parts, let alone her own body part.
