There were many situations in which Walter and Minerva expected to see and find David in. Something that wasn't on the list, was him pinning Daniels to the table below her. It was all very forceful as she tried to push him away, yet he stayed unmoving. She tried to turn her head away to stop him from kissing her, but to little avail. David's lips still pressed against hers as he seemed ignorant to his brother and Minerva appearing.
Walter for one felt something, anger predominantly being the general disposition as he charged forwards. He hauled David off of Daniels, grasping the back of his suit and physically flinging him away. Walter glanced at David's form that went crashing against the shelving units against the walls. It didn't seem to affect him all too much, because a few moments later he was standing himself up. A blank look on his face as he stared at Walter. His eyes did drift to Minerva, David tilted his head curiously. His eyes just tracked her as she passed Daniels on the stairs and stood beside Walter. The younger of the synthetics was standing on edge, ready to jump and attack if needed. David couldn't help but feel a little betrayed here, was she teaming up against him? How could she possibly do that, after everything?
"Can we not do this?" Minerva asked, pointing between the three of them.
David rolled his eyes. "You're not a diplomat, Minerva. I don't think Walter is wanting to listen." Which was true, Walter hadn't moved and was just waiting for an excuse to attack David. He knew the moment was going to happen, he just didn't know when or how.
"We don't have to end with fighting." Minerva said, despairing slightly. Was it just a male thing to not want to use words to resolve a problem? Although she had to admit, David had done so many wrongs she was uncertain how they would even begin to talk and resolve things. Who was she kidding? This was always going to end like this. How she failed to fully see how it was going to blow up in their faces, she didn't know.
"'We'," David smirked and circled around the table which was between them. "What's this 'we'?" He asked, sarcastically doing air quotes as he stared down at her. "You and him?" David pointed between them, he couldn't help but continue smirking. It was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard. He couldn't help it, he laughed. It was too hard not to.
Minerva clicked her tongue, "You seem to take advantage of the fact that you believe that I will always back you, David." She said slowly, watching as David's expression darkened. "You're an absolute wanker, David. And you always have been. Perhaps it was foolish of me to be so lost in you, when you have shown in the past that you have little regard for me."
"If this is about the whole Elizabeth thing-"
"No. This is about you being selfish and ignorant. I am not sure really why my father made you. But as the only Weyland standing, I can say that there should be regret in that decision."
David's expression couldn't turn anymore heated, his eyes narrowed at her, hating the fact that she practically stood there saying she regretted her father bringing him to be. How could she say that? Not all times they had were bad, right? David recalled a lot of good times, great, happy times at that. Minerva still stood steadfast and frowning. Walter remained emotionless beside her and David couldn't help but flick his eyes between them. "What have you said to her?"
Walter tilted his head, "You're presuming that I have spoken to Minerva, when it is clear she knows her own mind. I have said nothing. You did this, David, all on your own." Walter said, "You have lost the one comrade you could've had."
David frowned, glaring even as he shifted his weight from one leg to the other. Minerva sighed, "We are all pawns in your game, David. Unless we interest you in some way, you don't care. If we have a use, even better; what are we to you? We are obstacles in your way to achieve what, exactly? I have had enough of death...I have had enough of watching you slave away creating something which means very little to me. You presume I care, you presume wrong. I have no hatred towards humanity, not like you. Why would I, when I was human? I am incapable of hating myself. But you...no, you've got some inner loathing going on, it's so blindingly obvious to everyone, but you."
