"And even with the harsh wind. Broken fragment of soul. Fake smiles. Sore bruises. Thousands of giving up. She continued to love 'love'."

JIMIN REMEMBERED the first time his mother's gentle cheeks met the harsh slap of her husband, echoing in the corners of the room; holding an irreplaceable past that cannot be erased—a past that Jimin hopes that will forever live in the darkest parts of his father because if he remembered it, his father also must.
Jimin remembered how her cheeks became swollen as salty tears—tears that she never deserved—ran down her cheeks like a waterfall of emotions she has been trying to control, but it all came down crashing on her when she saw the horrified look of her beloved son, pleading for his father to stop hurting the woman who gave him life. It was a irreplaceable memory and an irreplaceable sin, and will forever be embedded on the walls of the building they called 'home'.
But still, Jimin remembered even with the harsh slaps, heavy punches, and sore bruises. His mother continued to love anything is to love. She continued to love his smile. She continued to love his laugh. She continued to love him even though he was not the same man she loved anymore.
He was not the man she loved, before she knew it, he turned into a monster no one could love.
Only she.
