KIM MIRAE WAS A MISERABLE WOMAN with a miserable life, as if she was the flood within the storm, the tornado beside the wind, the harsh wave on top of the ocean, bringing harm to everywhere in her life—Kim Mirae was the embodiment of unfortunate itself.

Maybe she was born with it. When she was a child, she was in a road trip alongside her father beneath the bridge when the car crashed against an another car in a fast speed—the father died, she survived, and she wished she did not.

When she was a teen, her mother got depressed and took anti-depressant pills yet it took no effect on the poor mother. She became an alcoholic and later on became a drug addict by the influence of her older sister. Poor little Mirae had no idea why her mother was not answering the door when she knocked, calling her for dinner—not knowing that her mother already took her life as a noose decorated her neck, head falling down like a lifeless doll. She was fine, her mother is not, and she wished she was not. In guilt.

When she became an adult, maybe life took pity on her when he met the gleaming smile of Jaemin fabricated with stars and constellations as his eyes glimmered a tale of hope and dreams. And after that, after the meeting, after the confession, after the dates, after the kisses, after the hugs, after the marriage, after the son, it was happiness.

It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness. It was happiness.

Until it wasn't.
