Adam's POV
I wake up to soft kisses being placed along my jawline. I instinctively move in closer to the person, not knowing or really caring who it is, they are warm and comfy.
"Baby wake up, my arms going dead." I hear a voice whisper.
"Five more minutes." I murmur, still half asleep. I'm tired.
"Ok baby boy." I hear the voice whisper again, raising it at random points to a very quiet speaking voice, making me recognise it.
"Theo?"
"Yes?"
"What are you doing here?" I ask, scrunching up my eyes and furrowing my brows in confusion.
"Wake up baby and you'll remember"
"Ok" I stretch and yawn, accidentally kicking him in the process. In my delirious state of mind, I don't remember hearing the stairs creaking from the room near us, I didn't notice the subtle changes in position from Theo, situated behind me, I didn't realise these things until I see perhaps why they were done. Christian walks into the room. I feel Theo tense behind me, and I shrink into his arms, trying to hide my face in his body.
"It's ok baby, I'm right here." I hear Theo behind me, uttering reassurance, obviously he must have noticed my fear.
"Hey Adam, looking good still. How about you come with me? I'm a lot more interesting than that weirdo." Christian smirks, completely disregarding everyone's feelings, especially mine and Theo's. Tears well in my eyes, I don't want to go with him. I don't know what he will do to me, all I know is it will most likely not be good. I want Theo, not Christian.
"I'm staying here, with Theo." I mumble.
"Oh no you are not. And I'm going to make sure."
"Christian, for Christ's sake. Pack it in, he's with Theo now, go sit in your room or something, go out with your friends. Oh, sorry, I forgot you don't have friends do you? None existent, because you probably pounced on them at every moment you got!" Indi says, clearly done with him, like me.
"I'm not leaving until Adam here comes with me." Christian retorts.
"Right! I've had enough with this!" Theo says, brisk and harsh, making me jump.
"Sorry baby," he says "but he's really getting on my nerves, even hearing him coming down the stairs made me angry. And him blatantly disrespecting you tipped me over the edge."
I unwillingly sit up, allowing him to stand up and go over to where Christian is standing. He towers above him, Theo being older and taller, causing Christian to visibly panic. He's annoyed the wrong guy, my guy.
"Disrespect him one more time, I dare you." Theo growls, earning a flash of fear on Christian's face, but after a split second, it's changed to menacing.
"You can't back out of a dare, can you? Looks like I'm going to have to go through with it. It's not my fault Adam is hot!" He laughs out. That was the biggest mistake he's ever made, after being born obviously.
"That's it you!" Theo throws the first punch, hitting Christian square in the face. My man can fight! After staggering back a couple of steps and multiple shouts from both girls, Christian attempts to throw a punch back at Theo, but the aim was bad and Theo managed to dodge it, before throwing another punch, to the stomach this time, rage written all over his face. I'm scared of Theo right now, Indi and Astra look terrified and Christian looks dazed. I should probably stop this before it goes too far, I don't want Christian to be dead and Theo to go to prison, I also don't want Theo to get punched.
"Theo, mi príncipe," I shout, the nickname accidentally slipping out "please stop, I don't want you fighting!" Theo looks over, Christian takes the opportunity to throw a punch, hitting Theo in the cheek, luckily it was one of the weakest punches ever witnessed by mankind, and it only shocked Theo a little bit, however it will probably leave a bruise later. Indi and Astra go to Christian, restraining him from inflicting any serious damage, before taking him to the bathroom to get cleaned up. I move over to Theo, kissing his injured cheek, before enveloping him into a hug, breathing in, remembering his distinct scent.
"te amo mi príncipe," I murmur "don't ever scare me like that again. When he punched you, no matter how light it was, my heart was in my mouth, I was so scared you were going to get hurt. What if it was really bad and you had to go to hospital? What if we hadn't been here? What if you had killed him? What if he killed you?" I was panicking now, working myself up, but I couldn't stop it, images flashed through my mind. Theo on the floor, surrounded by his own blood, Christian standing triumphantly next to him, one foot on his chest, as if he's on a podium or something. I let out a loud sob, tears soaking Theo's shirt for the second time that day.
"Hey baby boy. It's ok I'm here, I'm here. I'm fine, Christian is fine, I'm not going to jail. I'm not in hospital, you were here to save the day. Turns out you're my knight in shining armour as well!" He chuckles at the last part, letting out a sigh as he refers to and remembers our earlier conversation. I smile at the thought, teary eyed, but smiling. Today has gone by so slowly, we've all managed to forget that it's New Year's Eve, soon to be New Year's Day, as looking outside, the sun is beginning to set, replaced by the moon. I might get a New Years kiss tonight, if I'm lucky. It better not be off Christian though.
"Can we get some ice for your cheek, I don't want it to swell up and bruise, even though you'd still be breathtakingly beautiful." I say, eyeing up his already swelling cheek, giving it another light kiss, this time for a second or two longer, trying to magic it better, because of course that's going to work isn't it! Theo has made me believe in magic, what is he doing to me? I mean I brought it upon myself to be honest, I was the one who texted him first and then consistently texted him. I'm to blame for all this.
"Adam, wake up, you're in a different universe" he shakes my shoulders whilst saying.
"Sorry, got lost in our story. You know how we started talking and all that." I begin "also you have me to thank for all this, I was the one who texted first. Just saying!"
"Oh, well it looks like I'm going to have to thank you doesn't it? What do you want me to say?" He teases
"Hmmm I reckon, thank you Adam Alexander Hughes for texting me consistently until I eventually responded. We are now boyfriends!" I sass back
"Well, thank you Adam Alexander Hughes for texting me consistently until I eventually responded. We are now boyfriends and I couldn't be happier. I love you." He says, loud and proud, making me blush yet again and hide my face in his shoulder.
"Was that good enough?" He says, prompting my face from his shoulder.
"It was perfect, the best thing ever." I mumble, slightly embarrassed.
We then hear yelling coming from upstairs, quite possibly indastra -which is their ship name- shouting at Christian, which is not what I really want them to do but each to their own I suppose.

A/N
Next chapter will be New Year's Eve celebrations, only multiple days late. Sorry? Also the picture at the top is who we are sort of imagining Christian as. But any suggestions are sought after and greatly appreciated.
