I walk out of the floral shop, a bouquet in hand as I head to the truck. I set the flowers in the passenger seat gently and decided to head to Teller Morrow to see what's going on and to try and find Opie. I head to the shop and pull in to see Gemma out, having a smoke. She gives me a smirk and I head to her direction once I park the car. "How're you doing, baby and baby?" She asks as she takes another drag.
I smile, "We're doing alright." I admit, touching my growing belly. "Hungry."
Gemma chuckles, "That shit don't stop." She says before finishing her cigarette. "What are you doing here?"
I shrug, "Just wanted to swing by, check in on everyone I guess." I tell the matriarch. She nods, walking towards the clubhouse. "Have you seen Opie this morning? He didn't come home last night."
Gemma shakes her head, "I'm not sure. I know Jax stayed here last night and so did some of the other guys. A late night run." She tells me. I nod, not sure if I believe it. We head into the clubhouse and I sigh, seeing Tig sitting at the bar with a beer in hand.
"Getting a head start?" I ask the older man. He smirks as he looks back at me.
"Sure am, baby." He says with a wink. "Looking for Ope?" I nod, not knowing it was that obvious that I'm looking for him. "He's out with Jax, I think. They went on a quick shipment." He tells me and I nod once more before taking a seat beside the aging man.
"How have you been?" I ask him, making small talk as the prospect hands me a glass of water.
He shrugs, "Same shit, different day, you know?"
I chuckle, "You're preaching to the damn choir."
Tig looks down at my belly with a smile, "How's the baby doing? Your tummy is getting bigger. Don't you guys figure out the sex soon?"
I nod, "Yeah, in a couple of days. They're doing well. Always hungry." I laugh, "It's like I can never stop eating. It's either hunger or cramps. Want to trade?"
The man shakes his head, "Hell to the no, sister. I'd rather deal with blue balls my whole life than have another human grow inside of me and popping it out of my va-"
"Alright, I get it." I tell him, chuckling before taking a sip of my water.
A rumble of motorcycles erupts from outside and I look at the door, deciding to go out to see if it's Jax and Opie. I walk outdoors to see the two men pulling into the lot, parking their bikes and heading over here. Jax and Opie look over to a car and I hear one of them groan before they shake their heads. I walk over to Ope and he gives me a blank stare before hugging me. "Hey." He murmurs.
I give him a confused look, "everything alright?"
He just nods, "Yeah, I'm fine." And with that, he walks away. I shake my head, trying my best to not stress or overthink his odd behaviour. I take a seat at the picnic table and pull out my phone, noticing a text from Ellie about what we're having for dinner. I text her back quickly before hearing another motorcycle pull into TM.
"Why the fuck are you still here?" I hear Opie growl at someone. I turn my head and see a tall, skinny blonde girl dressed in nearly there clothing standing before him. "I told you to get the hell out this morning." I feel my heart shatter into a million pieces, automatically assuming the worst. Gemma looks over to me and shakes her head as she notices the blonde and Opie bickering. I ignore her and feel tears threaten to escape my eyes.
"Damn, can't a man get a tune up out here? Where do I go to find a mechanic?" I hear from behind me. My eyes widen, and I turn around quickly, noticing the familiar man who I had thought was abandoned in my past. "Holy shit, Faith?" He rushes over to me with a large smile and looks down at my tummy, reaching out to it before pulling me into a hug. "I can't believe it's you! You look great, and you're even prettier pregnant."
"Hi Rick..." the man continues to smile behind his Ray-Bans.
"I didn't think I'd see you around. I was just going on a ride, heading to my sister's place to give her a hand with some shit and my bike started making these weird noises so I figured to stop for a check up." He admits and I just nod, absolutely shocked to see him.
Almost on cue, the tall blonde woman walks past me, looking over to Rick and I and smirking. "Don't worry darlin', it was an invite." She says to me and Rick raises an eyebrow.
"What the fuck was that about?" he asks.
I sigh, "I have no idea."
Opie comes storming out of the clubhouse and notices Rick, not knowing who he is. "What do you want?"
"Jesus, friendly service." Rick murmurs. "Looking for a tune-up, my man. Bike started fucking up on my ride." He calls out to the tall man as he stands freakishly close to me, hand still on my belly.
"And why the hell are you holding my girlfriend's stomach?" Opie growls.
Rick looks back at me and then to the tall man. "No shit, eh?" He says with a laugh. "You're Faith's new man, the guy who got her pregnant." Rick smirks, "Name is Rick, you've probably heard of me."
"Get your hands off her." Opie threatens the man, "I'm not going to ask you again."
"Just like how your hands were on that gash earlier today?" I hiss at him, not thinking before speaking. My eyes widen as the words slip out of my mouth and Opie stares back at me in shock.
"Ah, so you're a cheating asshole." Rick instigates and I glare at my ex-boyfriend, wanting him to stay the hell out of this.
"I didn't do anything with Ima. Jax had her over last nig-"
"A lying, cheating asshole."
I look over at Rick and shove him, "Can you shut up?" I ask him frustrated. Rick shrugs and walks closer to Opie.
"Listen man, I just want a tune up, so either you check out my bike, or get someone else who will. I don't feel like witnessing a domestic and then saving the damsel in distress."
Opie growls, "How about you get the fuck off of this lot and leave her and myself alone. How does that sound, ex-boyfriend?"
Rick chuckles, "Ouch, that hurt, giant boy." He says before Jax comes out of the clubhouse looking at the three of us.
"Can I help you?" He asks Rick, looking over at him.
"A tune up for my bike. I just need it done before I end up knocking this douche on his ass." He says, glaring at Opie. "Sound do-able?"
Jax looks over to Opie and then Rick, nodding as he walks over to his tools and back to Rick's bike with Rick by his side. Opie looks over at me, pissed off and confused. "Why the fuck is he here?"
I glare at him, "You think I invited him? I was wondering what that tart was doing here, but I think you answered my question by shouting at her." I told Opie, annoyed and hurt.
Opie shakes his head, "Jax had her over last night. Shits going south with him and Tara, and I-"
"So that's why you stayed over last night? To protect Jax?"
Opie sighs, "I stayed over because I'm scared shitless about this baby." My eyes widen and I shake my head, being confused. "I just want to be a good dad, and a good boyfriend, and I'm scared that I can't do either." He signals over to Rick, "and asshole here isn't really helping the situation."
I shake my head, "You can't blame Rick for any of this. You should've told me how you were feeling." I tell the man and he sighs, knowing that I'm right.
"I know, I should've and I wish I did. Now I have to clean up this whole Ima mess."
I nod, looking back to the man, "You do, and I really hope she's not a usual around here or we're going to have some words." I tell him, heading towards my truck. "I'm going home to feed the kids."
Opie sighs, "I'll be by later."
I shake my head, "Don't worry about it." And with that, I leave both my boyfriend and ex-boyfriend alone on the same lot. What the actual fuck.
