Zoe stood in front of the Academy, and pulled her bottom lip in between her fingers. Now that she thought about it, she was terrified to see Madison. She tried to play it off in the beginning, but as time passed she couldn't help but feel her nerves build up in her body. How much had she changed since that night? She couldn't have changed that much. Right?

All the girls from the Robichaux's Academy had been told to wait with Queenie, who would guide them where it was necessary once they all got situated. Zoe inhaled a deep breath and brought her fist up to the door before she knocked twice. She took a small step back and stole a glance at Cordelia, who held a stone cold glare. The second the door swung open, her face completely changed, and she braced a gentle smile.

A woman with dark brown hair embraced the blonde in a tight hug, and they both grinned at each other. Zoe rolled her eyes, and knew how many times Cordelia had complained about her. What was her name? Alison?

The girl who she presumed to be Alison shook Mallory's hand gracefully, and all she wanted to do was hit her as hard as she could. Once she made her way over to the brunette, she refused to smile and kept her arms crossed over her chest.

"Zoe! It's nice to finally meet you," She stuck out her hand for her to shake, but instead, Zoe looked her up and down and raised her eyebrows.

"Likewise." Alison noticed her annoyance, and let a frown tug at her lips.

"Oh, come on, you're still not butthurt over the Madison situation, are you?" The second she heard her name, her heart leapt in her chest and dropped down to the pit of her stomach. She clenched her fists subtly before trying to ignore her words. How dare she talk about her ex like that?

"Come on now, business is business darling, chin up," she tapped Zoe's chin in a motherly way and flashed Mallory and Cordelia a heartwarming smile.

"chin up darling," The brunette mocked her under her breath. If she had the choice, she'd punch her chin straight up to get her to stop talking.

"Now, I know you and Madison were fairly close the last time you saw her, so I think you'll be rather happy to see her this time around." She turned on her heel and opened the double doors to the large Academy house, and called down the girls who occupied the space there. She introduced all of them, but Zoe didn't quite pay attention due to her thoughts being crowded with Madison's name. Where is she?

She tapped her foot on the ground impatiently and scanned her eyes all around the area. She looked over to the staircases, and even glanced over to what she could see of the kitchen, but no luck. Alison noticed her wandering eyes and cleared her throat.

"Madison is running an errand. She'll be back shortly." Zoe glanced over to Alison and let her eyes fog up with hatred. Alison looked away, and walked up the stairs to show them to their rooms. Once Zoe had been assigned hers, she finally let her exhaustion fully hit her. She kicked off her boots and laid down on her uncomfortable bed. The second her head hit the pillow, she allowed sleep to wrap her up in a blanket and envelope her completely.

Knock Knock

"Two knocks Zoe, just two," The nervous girl whispered under her breath. She exhaled softly as an attempt to calm herself down. She had been trying to track down Madison for nearly over a month now, and she was more than positive she had found her. Apparently the head of the Academy, Alison- sent her to a temporary apartment so she could get a few things in her life sorted out before properly committing to a new Academy.

Zoe brushed off some fuzz on her black laced dress and cleared her throat lightly. She practiced what she planned on saying over again in her head, and adjusted her standing position to make sure she didn't look awkward. "Madison, how are you? It's been a while," She shook her head in disapproval and groaned. "That's so stupid."
