Your P.O.V: I went to Harrison to talk about me proposing to Nerris.
"When should I ask her?" I asked Harrison exited.
"Maybe you should ask David about that." He suggested. I nodded and got up.
"I told you this would happen seven years ago!" He said as I smirk, rolled my eyes and waved.
I went to the door and bumped in to someone.
"Oh (Y/n)!" I heard a mail voice. I look to see David, just the person I needed to see.
"Oh, David I needed to talk to you!" I said looking around to make sure Nerris wasn't around to hear what I needed to say.
"What about?" David asked tilting his head.
"It's about Nerris, but I need to tell you somewhere private, you never know who's listening." I said as he nodded with a little concern in his eyes. ~ We made our way to a nice place by the 'camps'.
"So, What is it about Nerris?" He asked a little concern in his voice.
"W-well, I was talking to Harrison about this first, then he told me to talk to you about it." I said taking a deep breath, then smiled.
"I wanna prepose to her but I don't know when or how." I said looking up with a sigh.
"O-oh...OH! I thought you wanted to break up with her for a while there!" He said with a little laugh. "No! Never!" I said shaking him by his shoulders.
"Ok,ok I'll help, but do you have a ring?" He asked, I nodded and pulled a pouch with it inside out of my pocket.
"Ok, so when exactly do you wanna propose? Do you want to do it close to the end of the summer or maybe sooner?" He asked as I put my finger to my chin in though.
"I never thought about it that much, maybe on the first of next month at least." I suggested.
"Ok! Do you want it to be something really fancy or something casual?" He asked.
"Simple but rememberable, something she would enjoy!" I said thinking.
"Maybe if parents day if it's still happening this year, considering I need to ask her parents about it to." "Ok, that would make sen-" "But what if they say I can't, what if she says no, what if someone finds out and spills the secret before hand!" I cut him off and start panicking at different outcomes.
"It's ok (Y/n), just don't think negative thoughts, think of the best and you'll be fine." He reassured me, calming me down.
"Ok, so when is parents day anyway?" I asked tilting my head a little.
"Next month, so you have time!" He said smiling, I guess it was contagious cause I started smiling to. "Thanks for your help David!" I said hugging him and walking away thinking,
'I hope it goes well' ~~~ It was parents day tomorrow and I got really nervous.
"(Y/n) the bold, you seem off today, is everything alright?" Nerris asked from beside me.
"Oh, oh course, just a little nervous about parents day is all!" I said holding her hand.
"It's ok (Y/n), it will go by and everything will be ok!"she said kissing my forehead. I smiled and hugged her.
"Ok, even though we don't know the spell for telling the future yet, I'm sure your right!" I said going back to watching the sunset with Nerris. ~ I woke up with someone poking my face.
"(Y/n) it's parents day, get up~" I heard Nerris say still poking my face. I flutter my eyes open to see her smiling.
"Morning." I said sitting up rubbing my eyes.
"I'll be in the mess hall." She said walking out of the tent.
I put my hair up in to a high ponytail with some little braids here and there, got dressed into a yellow tank top, f/c unzipped sweater, ripped jeans and red converse, and to top it off my elf earring clamps.
I walked out to the mess hall to see parents already showing up.
I walked slow and calm cuz I knew my parents weren't here.
"(Y/n)!"I heard from the 'camp' yard. I looked over to see Nerris with her parents waving me over. I walked to her and smiled at her and her parents.
"Mom, Dad this is the girl I've been talking about for a long time! (Y/n) the bold!" She introduced as I smiled and waved.
"It's a pleasure meeting you both!" At this point I am really nervous at what they think of me.
"Are those metal elf ears!?" The dad asked shocked, I nodded and turned my head to give him a better look. "Were did you get them?" He asked still shocked.
"She made them when we first met!" Nerris answers for me. "Talented isn't she!" The mom said smiling as I smiled back.
"Everyone inside for some lunch!" We heard David say.
We went to the mess hall and I pulled the parents aside before we got to the inside.
"Um, I need to speak with you two if that's ok!" I said as they turned to me and nodded.
"Yes?" They asked. "I-I was hopping that I m-maybe could ask N-Nerris to merry m-me, but I would like your permission first." I said looking down.
"Oh, of course, we'd love for that!" The mom said as the dad nodded.
"R-really!?" I was so excited that I hugged both of them.
"Is everything ok?" Nerris pocked her head out around the door.
"Yes, we're coming!" I said smiling. ~ It was dinner now and I was so nervous on what she'd say but I'll just have to get scared latter!
Nerris's P.O.V: (Y/n) and my parents have been getting along quite nicely.
We were sitting together eating till she got up. "I'll be right back ok!" She said walking off.
I thought she just needed to use the bathroom so I brushed it off. "Excuse me, Everyone!" We heard David say loud so everyone could hear.
"Nerris, can you come over here please?" He asked as I got up and headed over.
(Y/n) was there looking nervous and fiddling with something in her hand. "N-Nerris?" She asked as I stoped in front of her.
"Yes?" I asked looking at her.
"I-I know we have been together for a long t-time and only seen each other for a little of that time, b-but I need to ask something! She said holding the object in her hand still now, it was a beautiful ring I'm guessing she made herself cuz I've never seen anything like it,

She got down on one knee and held it up.
"Nerris the cute, will you merry me?" She asked as my eyes widened in shock and amazement but had to hold in the tears.
"Y-yes!" I said as she got up with tears in her eyes and hugged me. There were lots of 'awww's. We pulled apart and she put the ring on me, it was perfect.
"I told you this would happen seven years ago!" Harrison shouted.
"Troll!" I shouted back at him. (Y/n) laughed "and I said I'd make the rings." We smiled at each other and put our foreheads together.
