Neil x Neko! Reader

(Niko time! This is a Niko reader x Neil, you wear hats to hide your ears and tuck your tail in your baggy clothes, people would do experiments on you before, enjoy!)

Your P.O.V:
I was on a broken down bus in the afternoon to try and get away from people that try to do experiments on me or try something just because I'm a Niko.

The bus ride was long and boring, I've already finished my only book that's not in my suitcase.

We screeched at a halting stop, and we hit a girl...

"New kids here..." the creepy old dude said as got off the bus to see a red haired, skinny, smiling man.
"Hello! You must be (Y/n)!" He asked in a joyful voice.

"Correct, and who are you?" I asked.
"I'm David, only one of your amazing camp counsellors!" He replied as I held out my hand for him to shake.

He happily excepted and I smiled.

"Now then, let's go to the mess hall to introduce you to the other campers!" He said leading me to a broken down looking building with a flags pole.

We walked in to see kids everywhere, throwing stuff, running with knifes, Heck one was even flying from the ceiling fan!

"Oh my!" David said running to someone who I am assuming is another consoler.

I turned away to a seat and sat down pulling out the book from earlier to read it again.

"Hay new kid!" I heard from the other side of the table.

I looked up to see a girl with teal hair, a boy with poofy black hair and another boy with a yellow turtleneck sweater.

"Hello." I said closing my book.

"What camp did you sign up for?" She asked sitting next to me.

"That was a possibility?" I asked tilting my head to the side a little.

"Ya, for example I'm in Adventure camp and Neil's in nerd camp!" She said pointing to the turtleneck boy I now know as Neil.

"It's science camp Nikki!" He yelled at the teal haired girl, Nikki.

"O-oh, I see." I said getting a little nervous, I started pulling my hat down further and wrapped my tail around my waist.

"Is something wrong?" Nikki asked tilling her head.

"Y-ya I'm ok." I said getting up to go see David to ask were my tent was.

Neil's P.O.V:
She seemed nice and weird at the same time.

As she started walking away I could have sworn I saw something move in her baggy sweater.

"Neil are you listening?" Nikki asked as I snapped back to her conversation.

"Not really." I replied looking at her.
"Well then, as I was saying she seemed a little weird, nice but weird, I mean like she reads books!" Nikki said waving her hands around her head.

"I read books." I said raising my hand a little.

"Ya, but your a nurd" Max said putting his hands in his pockets.
I sighed and walked to my tent.

I got inside to see a suitcase on the other bed.

'Maybe this is her tent to now?' I thought to myself pulling out a book.

Your P.O.V:
I went to talk to David.

"Nurf put the knife down!" David shouted at a boy.

"Excuse me David?" I asked stopping him.

"Yes (Y/n)?" He asked with a smile.
"I was wondering were my tent was." I replied looking him in the eyes.

"I'll show you in a moment, I need to fix things here first, if that's ok?" He asked as I nodded and went back to my book.

A while later~
"Ok (Y/n)! Let's go!" David said walking to me.

I closed the book and put it in my arms.

"Do you enjoy reading (Y/n)?" David asked, obviously trying to start a conversation.

"Very much, I really like, What Remains Of Her, its a very good story." I replied smiling.

"Oh really, I haven't read it, what's it about?" He asked tilting his head to the side a little.

"Mostly mystery." I said still walking.
"That's nice!" He said with a smile.
It was a nice silent the rest of the way.

"Ok, your stuff is already in there." He said stopping at a tent.

"Ok thanks." I replied walking in.
I took off my hat cuz it was getting a little hot and uncomfortable.

"W-w-..y-you...I" I heard from behind me.

I looked to see Neil there with wide eyes and mouth hung open.

I put my hat back on and ran to the nearest corner I could.

I curled up into a ball and started to panic which turned in to an anxiety attack fast.

Neil's P.O.V:
I was still shocked at the amazing sight of what she was.

She started to breath faster and started shaking a little.

'Is she having an anxiety attack!' I thought walking closer to her.
"A-are you ok?" I asked.

She eased her head and she seemed to be crying.

Your P.O.V:
I felt tears on my face thinking about what the scientists did to me back then, and now I'm sharing a tent with a science nerd.

"A-are you ok?" Neil asked.

I look up and shook my head no.
He came closer to me which only made it worse.

"Is it me?" He asked, so me noticed.
"N-not just y-you..." I said in between breaths.

"What do you mean by 'not just me?" He asked sitting a good distance away.

"It's n-nothing." I said putting my head back in my knees.

"It is if I can help!" He shouted.
I shot my head up to see him right in front of me.

My breathing got quicker and more tears fell from my face.

He noticed and only got closer, till his face was only inches from mine.

He only got closer from there and pressed his lips against mine.
I was shocked but slowly closed my eyes.

He pulled away and blushed.
"S-sorry!" He said hiding his hands.
"I-it's ok, you helped actually." I said breathing normally.
He looked up and sighed.

"Good, s-So about your e-ears?" He asked as I took off my hat again.
"Can I feel them?" He asked in aw.
I nodded and he put his hand on my head.

I started to purr and my tale came out of my sweater.

"You have a tali to." He said as I nodded.

He stroked it and I blushed and pulled it away.
He looked at me with a look of confusion.
"I-I'm sensitive." Was all I said, looking away.

He blushed pulling his hand back to himself.

"S-sorry!" He said, I just gave a small smile.

"It's ok, Hay um it's getting late." I said getting up from the ground.
"Y-ya should we get to bed?" He asked.

I nodded and went over to my bed but remembered it wasn't made yet.
"Oh! I-if you want to you can s-sleep with me, I-I don't mind." He said looking away blushing.

"Are you sure? I'm ok with it, but only if you really don't mind." I said looking at him.

"It'll be ok, plus your tiered." He said.
"Ok." I replied giving a smile, he smiled back too.
I got in the covers and he got in to.
"Goodnight Neil." I said closing my eyes.
"Goodnight (Y/n)..." was all I heard before drifting off to the dreamscape...
