"Shit..!! It's already evening.. I should go and check on them.." Hemal mumbled to herself as soon as the darkening evening sky caught her attention.. She put aside her laptop and some other important papers and walked out from her room..
As she reached the hall, her eyes witnessed a cute sight and her lips instantly carved upwards..
There was Dhruv making something standing in the open kitchen and her baby was sitting on the kitchen top busy in eating fresh peas.. They were talking and giggling..
"What's going on guys..??" she asked gaining their attention.. The two were so engrossed in their world that they failed to notice Hemal's presence before..
"I promised Angel that I would get her a pizza, so, now I'm making her a pizza.." he said happily, arranging the toppings on the pizza dough.. "And don't worry, it's my healthy version of pizza.." he whispered to Hemal..
"Okay.. But what's this, baby..??" she giggled and lifted Dhruvika's red scarf, one end of which was tied around her neck..
"Ah..!! Don't touch it.. It's my cape.. I'm a superhero now.." Dhruvika muttered cutely and dramatically making her mommy laugh..
"She's Captain Angel.." informed Dhruv..
"Captain Angel.." she chuckled..
"Yup, like Captain America and Captain Marvel, she's our Captain Angel.." he picked her up and twirled her in the air making her giggled heartily..
"I don't know about Captain Angel or all these things.. But I do know that my baby girl is the cutest superhero.." Hemal took the giggling Dhruvika from Dhruv's arms and kissed her puffed up cheeks..
Dhruv too kissed her cheeks and then planted a quick peck on Hemal's temple without Dhruvika's notice..
"See your pizza's almost ready.. We just need to put it in the oven and then you can eat.." he muttered excitedly and Dhruvika's eyes twinkled..
"Then put it in the oven, fast.. And before that put extra, extra cheese on my pizza.."
"Aye aye, Captain.." and after putting a little bit more cheese Dhruv left the pizza in the oven for baking..

"Wait, baby, it's hot.. You'll burn yourself.." Dhruvika was about to touch the freshly baked pizza but Dhruv immediately picked her in his arms and took two steps back, so that her tiny arms didn't reach the warm pizza..
"Baby, you go with him and watch TV.. I'll get your pizza.." Hemal smiled and eyed Dhruv to take her..
Dhruv took her from the kitchen and Hemal started slicing the pizza..
"Here you go.." she came to the living area with pizza in her hand and settled herself beside her baby on the couch..
She put the plate on the centre table and picked a slice of pizza.. She first blew some air to cool it down and then feed Dhruvika..
Dhruv seemed a little nervous and anxious as she took the first bite..
"Eee..!! It's so tasty..!! Now I'll only have your hand made pizza.. It's tastier than the other pizzas.." she smiled a huge one and clapped her hand..
Relief washed over his nervous system as Dhruvika appreciated the pizza made by him..
"I'm glad that you liked it, sweetheart.." he bended a little and kissed her hair..
"I loved it.. It's the best.." she said in a wobbly voice chewing the pizza and kissed Dhruv's cheek..
"Here.." Hemal feed her another bite..
She never thought her little girl would get so much love and pamper from Dhruv.. But seeing their strengthening bond, her heart got filled with contentment and satisfaction.. Still there was a huge fear kept knocking her door, which she couldn't avoid and she knew, she had to face it sooner than soon..
"Eat.." she was brought back from her thoughts by Dhruv who had a slice of pizza holding before her lips..
"Yeah, I'll eat.. But first let me finish feeding her.."
"You feed her, I'm feeding you and myself, okay.."
"Okay.." she lightly chuckled shaking her head and took a bite..
Soon they finished the rest of the pizza watching Tinker Bell.. They had a perfect family evening filled with love, pamper and cuddles..
