The ambulance stopped in front of the ER gate of the hospital where Dr. Swayam was already waiting for them..
As soon as the paramedics took the unconscious Dhruvika out of the ambulance Swayam took her inside the ER and gave a few instructions to the nurses about her treatment..
"Sh-she is fine, right, Swayam??" Hemal asked hopefully rubbing the tear off of her cheek..
"Hemal, I don't mean to scare you, but she seems pretty serious this time.. I need to run some test to knew the exact condition.. But I'm afraid we can not wait any longer for her surgery.." he informed her with a heavy heart..
"Oh God.." Hemal hid her face in her palms and sobbed some more..
"Hey, Hemal, you can't become weak now.. You're not allowed to be weak.. Your little girl's life is at steak.. You have to stay strong.. And did you tell Dhruv about Angel??" he asked to which she looked up at him slowly and shook her head negatively..
"Will, I think it is the time.. Gather up yourself and tell him the truth.." Swayam lightly patted her upper arm and shifted his attention to Dhruvika..
Hemal glanced at her baby's pale face helplessly thinking about Swayam's every word and that was when she remembered about Dhruv.. She could recall that Dhruv too came to the hospital with them but then she got so occupied by her own pain and misery and panicky that she totally forgot about him and lost his track..
"Mam, can you please wait in the waiting room..?? We're taking your daughter up stair to run some more test and doctor's saying we need admit her as well.. So, please you sit in the waiting room for now and I'll send the admission form there.." a nurse asked Hemal politely..
"Yeah, sure.. Swayam just take care of her.." she muttered taking a deep breath..
"I will.. You go now and I'll keep you posted about her condition.." said Swayam and Hemal walked away from there..

As Hemal took a few steps forward and took a right turn, she saw Dhruv standing at a little distance.. By a single glance she could see how terrified and worried he was.. And a sense of guilt hit her hard for forgetting about him and abandoning him like that..
"Why are you standing here alone??" she asked as she approached him..
"Hemal.. How is she now??" it was the first thing he asked her..
"I-I.. don't know.. Swayam took her to do some test.." she informed..
"I couldn't see her like that.. I was so scared.. I am scared.. What is happening with her?? Tell me, Hemal.. Tell me, what's wrong with my baby.." Dhruv asked hugging her and sobbed in her arm..
He was totally clueless about what was happening around him and was in pain seeing that little soul suffering.. Hemal took deep breaths in order to stop herself from breaking down in front of him and continued to rub his back to sooth him..
And all of a sudden Dhruv pulled away from the embrace with a jerk..
"Swayam took her.. You mean your friend Dr. Swayam Maheshwari??" he asked with a frown..
"Yeah.." she nodded in response..
"Isn't he an oncologist?? Why the hell he took her?? Why is he treating her, Hemal?? Does she have can-cancer??" he asked painfully but Hemal remained silent..
"Tell me dammit.." he shook her lightly in frustration..
"Yes.. She has cancer, Dhruv.. My four years old baby has Leukaemia.." finally she spoke and broke down in his arms..
This new piece of information was a huge bummer for him.. He didn't know what to do or say or think at that moment.. To be honest he didn't even thinking much of the crying Hemal in his arms.. He just felt fear - raw and dark fear, fear of loosing his baby..

"Please, Dhruv, save my little girl.. I'll die if anything happen to her.. I'm not a match for her.. I'm helpless, I can't save her.. Even if I'm her mother, I can't donate my bone marrow.. But may be your bone marrow will match hers.. Please save her, Dhruv, please.." Hemal mumbled and cried more remaining in the same position..
Hemal's words knocked some senses to Dhruv and he made her look into his eyes by cupping her face after breaking the hug..
"You think I can help Angel by donating my bone marrow.." Hemal instantly nodded at his words..
"Does.. does that mean Angel is..."
"Your daughter.. Yes, Dhruv, she is your daughter, your little girl.."
"She's my daughter.. Oh my God.. I have a baby.." he mumbled in amusement and fresh hot tears dribbled down from his eyes..
"I just get to know that I'm a father of the most incredible kid and I don't even know whether to be happy for having a baby or sad that my baby is hanging between life and death..
You hid my daughter from me for five years, you didn't even bother to tell me the truth even when I was with her.. And now you're tell me about her when she's dying.. Why the hell you did that to me, to her?? Do you have any idea, even she craved for a father's love.. Last night she asked me to be her dadda, when her dad was with her the whole time.. Tell me why did you do that??" Dhruv whisper yelled at her shaking her vigorously without caring about her continuous sobbing..
"Dhruv, calm down.. You guys are in a hospital hall way, don't create a scene here.." Swayam came running seeing Dhruv shaking Hemal holding her by her forearm and separated them..
"Oh now I'm creating a scene..?? Your friend left India with my kid and hid her from me and I'm creating a scene.. You know what, yes, I am creating a scene and I will continue to do so until I'm getting my answers that why the hell she did it.." his eyes were bloodshot red caused by both pain and anger and he was extremely furious..
"Hemal will answer all your questions once Angel is cancer free, okay.. For now let's keep our focus on her.. By the way she's stable now and hopefully she'll gain consciousness soon.." Swayam handled the situation calmly..
"I want to know all her medical history since her birth.." Dhruv demanded.. He seemed calmer than before..
"Okay.. You come with me, I'll introduce you to her paediatrician.. Then we'll narrate and explain you all her medical conditions.. And now as you know about her illness, will you like us to check your bone marrow if it's a match for her or not.."
"Yeah, of course.. Let's do that first.. I can meet the paediatrician later.."
"Okay then.. Let's get you checked up first.. Hemal, please do all the paper works and then ask the nurse to show you Angel's room.." Hemal who was silently sobbing all this while nodded slightly at Swayam's word..
"Umm.. Swayam, what if I'm also not a match for her..??" Dhruv asked fearfully..
"Angel is on the bone marrow transplant list since the day when we found out Hemal isn't a match for her.. If you are also not a match for her then she will remain in the transplant list.. In that case we have to wait for UNOS to find her a match.. Or you guys can have a donor child for Angel.. You know siblings are potential donors.." he explained..
"Another baby..??" asked Dhruv in confusion..
"Yeah, but don't think about all this stuff now.. Let's get you checked first and hope for the best, okay.." he muttered putting his hand on Dhruv's shoulder..
"Okay.." Dhruv sighed..
"Now come with me.." Swayam took Dhruv with him giving an ensuring glance to Hemal..
