"Mary! Tell me you didn't do what I heard from the angels." Gabriel, in his usual white outfit, burst into the palace owned by the string goddess that was decorated in red. The goddess, Mary in her usual red outfit rested lazily on her seat played with a ball of red strings.

"Hm... so rude Gabriel. Have you heard about no trespassing a lady's room? Innocent and virgin at that?" Mary said boringly, twirling her finger with the strings. Gabriel pinched his nose in anger.

"Innocent and virgin my heaven. Like I don't know how many flings you have with my angels, Mary."

"It's fling! Not one night stand, stupid Gabriel." Mary roared. Gabriel rolled his eyes and messed his hair.

"For heaven's sake, tell me you didn't tie another string wrongly again."

"Again? I never did wrong." Mary defended herself. Gabriel's face was red from anger.

"As if the doctor-stripper case last week wasn't wrong." Mary pouted.

"That is what I got. I don't do wrong. The stars whispered to me to do that."

"That doctor is destined to die! Why you tied the string?! Plus a golden red? Really?" Gabriel lashed out. Mary pouted even more.

"Believe or not, the string helped him live few years more." Gabriel huffed.

"That's what saved you from the punishment. But not this time. Why the heaven you tied a string to Kit?" Gabriel questioned. Kit, his pet was his companion for so long. And even he's the most powerful here in the afterlife; he didn't know Kit's past or future. Weird, it is, but that's not that weird as he had few that he didn't know the past and future. Kit, Mary and her companion pet Love... Lucifer and his companion pet Simba. Only them, he didn't know their life. And yet now he's confused why Mary put a string to his pet, Kit. He had yet to see Kit at this moment as the little turtle went on the journey with Wonwoo and Junhui. He only got the news from the angels that he sent to keep eyes on them.

"The stars told me."

"Are you kidding with me?"

"No, it's really from the stars. I'm just doing my job." Mary defended. Gabriel exhaled heavily.

"Who is at the other end?"

"That... I don't know." Gabriel frowned.

"What the heaven? You're the string goddess!" Mary flinched.

"I know right?! But the star didn't let me know that!" Mary yelled back. Gabriel stared at her in disbelief before groaning out loud in frustration. He needed to know this, his pet wasn't going to be played by the Stars. As much as he always bickered with Kit, he cared for his little turtle. And yet he knew Kit won't be happy to know this. He knew Kit had been secretly admiring another entity.

"Hm. I'm surprised that Mary is unscathed right now." The two turned to the new voice. A male in black outfit stepped inside along with a midnight-blue cat. "Go and find Love, Simba. No need to listen to old men's conversation." The male said to the cat.

"I'm not old, Lucifer!" Gabriel roared. The male and his cat chuckled.

"Fine, I'm going. You guys are no fun." The cat said and left to find the bird they named Love.

"I'm not old too. But fair enough you also addressed yourself as old, Lucifer." Mary commented. "Anyway, why you come here Lucifer? Gosh, is today a day to break into my palace or what?" Lucifer chuckled.
