Chapter 21

"Scene 288." Kan said. They're doing the script reading rather smoothly. The scriptwriter and Kan had agreed to only do for the most important scenes but it was quite many from the total of scenes in the thick script book.

Kit took a breath. He noticed it was the most emotional scene for his character.

(A/N: The italic below here is the scene they're reading. Ark-Kit, Rin-Sic/Music, Joy-Noina)

Kit: "Sic, I win the competition. I want to celebrate it with you. I have booked-"

Rin: "Ark. I love Neo."

Kit: "Sic. You..."

Rin: "I'm sorry. I wanted to come and tell everything from the beginning but I'm not ready to tell. I- Neo, I have known him before we met here. He doesn't know me, but I like him since then. I could never dream that he will like me too someday. Even when he's going against you for me, I didn't believe it. I thought... this rival thing is just something you both did because you don't want to lose to each other. I never see you guys are serious. That's why I tried to avoid you and Neo's advancement."

Kit: "Sic, are you serious? You like him?" *take Music's hand into his but Music pulled away

Rin "Yes, I know my heart had chosen him long before three of us partnered up for the competition talent show. And I started to realize you're very serious with this thing unlike what I have thought so I think I should tell you. I don't want to hurt you, Ark. You're a good friend."

Kit: "I don't want to be friends."

Rin: "I'm sorry."

Kit: "Can't you let me show you my feelings for you?"

Rin: "I'm sorry, Ark. I don't think... I can't forget my feelings for Neo. And, I really see you as my friend. I'm sorry. I'm very sorry."

Kit: "Enough. Enough of that word."

Rin: "Ark, I-"

Kit: "Leave me alone."

Rin: "I'm sorry, Ark."

Kit: "Don't say it again. It hurts!" *looking away from Music as his tears threatened to fall

Rin: "I-"

Kit: "Leave, Music." *Music leaves, Ark finally cried his heart out* "Why won't she choose me? What that guy had that I don't?"

Kit really sniffled for real. Ever since he was studying Ark's character and story for the audition, he really felt so close with the character. Ark's pain was evidently plagued in Kit's mind so when he tried this emotional scene, he will end up fallen into the pain as well. Pom who sat behind Kit sneaked tissue to him. He wiped his runny nose and continued the script. That scene wasn't end yet.

Kit: "You're right, brother. That I don't deserve happiness with a lover. Maybe you're right. Someone like us cursed with love."

Joy: "Ark. Here you are." *appear beside Ark

Kit: *trying to hide his face* "What do you want, Noina?"

Joy: "Ark? Are you okay?"

Kit: "I'm fine. What do you want?"

Joy: "The senior university moon also our senior faculty moon are searching for you. They're going out for dinner to celebrate you and I for winning tonight, also our senior faculty moon wanted to celebrate us both for winning big."

Kit: "I... I don't want to go."

Joy: "Are you okay?"

Kit: "Yeah."
