"Hey Kayla!" Bridget exclaimed as she approached me at my locker. The day had just ended, the final bell had rung and everyone was heading out. "Hey Bridget." I replied. "Luke and Alex are gonna meet us out in the courtyard in five." Bridget explained. "Alright."
"So...anything from Lincoln?" Bridget asked. "No. And I told you to stop asking me about that." I slammed my locker door shut, intertwining me and Bridget's arms as we headed for the courtyard. "Sorry! So that means you've decided not to dm him?" Bridget pokes my shoulder when I didn't answer, so I turned towards her. "No."
"Alright." She muttered. Luke and Alex finally came into view, and I waved. "Kayla! Bridget! I have good news." Alex beamed. "What is it?" I questioned. "I dm-ed Lincoln and he answered!" Alex explained. "No! You weren't supposed to dm him!" I yelled. "Calm down! He replied saying that he was sorry that we couldn't meet him, but that he'd be stopping by Dallas next weekend!" Luke told me.
"Really, Luke? That's like a twelve hour drive from here. Plus, since it starts Friday we'd have to skip school Thursday and Friday. It's stupid." I muttered. "But, Alex and Bridget can already drive! Plus, school won't miss us that much." Luke protested. "Alright! It's settled then! We're going to Dallas!" Bridget yelled out.
"Correction. You are." I replied. "No way! If we have to kidnap you to get you to come, then we'll do it." Alex picked me up, pretending to throw me into a car and drive off. I giggled hysterically. "Fine, Fine! Dallas, here we come!"
