Chapter Eight - An End To A Beginning

2 months later.

"Good morning Lill's how are you feeling?" Luca asked "they were kicking all night" I responded "not long now and you'll have those mini trouble makers" "I can't wait" "okay I got the new bassinet you requested" Dante said "tired bro?" "she was kicking me all night, cause the babies were, she said and I quote I did it to her so I have to suffer too" "I still love you" I said to him "that's my cue to get the fuck out of here" Luca said "say hey to Belle for me" "will do, see you two later" and he left.

"I think it's time we had a serious talk babe" he said looking at me "about?" "when will we be getting married?" "when the babies are born I guess" "I had a lot of fun last night Nico" we looked over and saw a tall girl with black hair and dark skin "I'd love to do it again sometime" this girl is about to have her heart ripped out 'whispers to Dante' "this is going to end in Nico getting slapped isn't it?" "we were about to fuck on the counter but you and your putta ruined the mood" "ignore him that was never going to happen" "it could've now we'll never know because of Nico" "never, cause I'm 8 months pregnant" we heard a door shut and looked over "did that girl just go into your room Nico?" "she slapped me, no fucking way I'll sleep with her again now" "besides she wasn't even that good" "why haven't I kicked you out of my house yet?" "cause your kid loves his uncle" "his perverted uncle" I added "you're an idiot bro" Dante said "I'm going for a shower" I said and walked off "you're going aren't you?" Nico asked Dante "is that even a question" he said and walked off "well chick who slapped me, I guess it's your lucky day" he said and walked to his room.

I turned off the water and wrapped a towel around me Dante didn't end up joining me guess he changed his mind I walked in and saw Dante standing there holding a box it said Jennifer Elliot on it "Dante?" "I thought you were gonna be longer" he said sitting the box on the dresser "what is that?" "it's a present" he said taking my hand and placing it in my hand "what's the occasion?" "I can't shower my beautiful fiance in gifts?" "you can but isn't it a little expensive?" "nothing is as priceless as you and you're worth every penny" "now open it" he said letting go of my hand I opened the box and a beautiful highland cuff with swarvoski crystal "oh my god Dante!" "put it on" I fiddled it out of the box and put it on my wrist "it's so beautiful" "just like you" he said "so you like it?" "I love it baby, thank you so much" I said then I stopped the babies both kicked really hard "argh" I groaned and lean on the dresser "what's wrong babe?" "the babies are kicking hard" as I said that he leaned down to my belly "hey there little peanuts, mommy and daddy are trying to have a nice moment save the kicking for bed so mommy can kick me too" I laughed he's so sweet "daddy loves you both so fucking much you have no idea, and we can't wait to meet you little ones" "your brother is especially excited he's so convinced you're both boys, I'd be happy either way but I would like to have a little princess" I did not know that Dante wanted a little girl "I need to go to work, but I'll be back as soon as I can beautiful" he said and kissed me and left.

Dante's POV: I walked into the warehouse and just as I imagined Luca and Nico were at the bar a cigarette in one hand and a whiskey in the other just like old times heh old times.

flashback 5 years ago.

I walked into the warehouse and saw my cugino Nico and my fratello Luca at the bar they had a cigarette in one hand and a whiskey in the other "cugino, fratello" I said pouring a drink "Dante finally, we were just celebrating our victory in eliminating the slashers" Luca said raising his glass "I'll drink to that brother" I said raising mine "have your eye on anyone in here Dante?" Nico said patting my back "you know I don't like getting involved with the members cugino" I said shrugging him off "well I made no such vow so scusa cugino" he said and went over to the females "saving yourself for marriage fratello" Luca joked "like fuck that's ever happening Luca, you know me" "yeah, yeah I know brother I'm just fucking with you".
