Chapter Five - - Regretation

2 years later.

"Mummy I want to go to the park!" "okay sweetie but not for long" I said, I know what you're thinking and you're right Jonas is mine and Dante's son you're probably confused so I'll take you back a bit.

2 years ago.

"I don't understand doctor you told me I lost the baby?" "this rarely ever happens but you were carrying twins you only lost the one we didn't see the other before" the doctor said "well congratulations, you're still pregnant" "I have to call Dante!", I stood outside the doctors office and called him "hello?" an unfamiliar woman answered the phone "hi is Dante there?" "no sorry he's in the shower, can I help you?" "oh, can you let him know Lilly called?" "sure thing" "thanks", I waited and waited, but he never called, and soon my mom flew to Sicily and I went into labor.

"Okay Lilly I think you're ready to have this little boy" "you can do it honey" my mom said holding my hand "push my baby girl, you can do it" "one more big push!" the doctor said "I can't, I can't I need Dante!" "we can't get him on the phone baby, but I'm right here you can do this", after a lot of pain he arrived my baby boy, taking care of him alone was hard when my mom left to go home so I decided after a few weeks to move back with her and Jonas adapted well to the change "shh baby go to sleep" I said rocking his bassinet slightly "let's see if we can get a hold of your dad" "hello?" another woman answered different to the last "hi, is Dante there?" "no sorry, he's busy" "oh well, can you tell him Lilly called and to get back to me ASAP" "sure thing", and once again I waited, and waited, but he never called.

Dante's POV: I sat at the bar downing another whiskey when Nico walked up to me "your assistant called, she said Lilly tried to reach you" my face lit up "when?" "an hour or so ago" I thought for a minute then my phone rang pulling me from my thoughts "hello?" "doctor White, what can I do for you?" "she tried to call me, why is it your concern?" "what!?" I hung up the phone and finished the bottle of whiskey "what happened?" "Lilly tried to call me, because she's still pregnant" "what!?" "yeah, my reaction exactly" "what are you doing here then, go and get your girl back!" "she's not my girl and they're better off without me, she lost the baby because of me, I'm not going anywhere near her" "it's your decision cugino, but for the record I think it's a bad idea" "noted, now leave me to drink" "drink what, you drank out the bar" "fuck off Nico".

I got a call in the middle of the night from Belle telling me that Lilly went into labor I was going to go see her but I promised myself I wouldn't hurt her again and if she's in my world she'll get hurt.

Present day.

"Come on Jonas, it's getting late, let's get home" "okay" we didn't live far from the park thank god cause it's Jonas' favorite place, we walked inside "mom we're home!" "hi baby how was your day?" "it was great Jonas and I went for ice cream then the park" "glad you two had a good day" I had just noticed my mothers outfit it was a crossover shirt with a skirt "what are you wearing mom?" "what, the man at the store said it was hot" "and I am hot" my mom cracks me up all the time "hottest person I know mom" "so have you finished packing to leave for the wedding?" "yes, are you sure you can handle Jonas, he's in his terrible twos faze" "oh please honey, I raised you AND your brother, I can handle him" "will you see Dante there?" "he's Luca's twin brother mom, so yes I'm pretty sure he'll be there" "just ignore him and you'll be fine, if he tries anything call me and I'll be on a flight to kick his ass" "thanks for the advice mom and apparently becoming my bodyguard" "you better go or you'll miss your flight" "okay, bye mom" I hugged her tightly "bye baby" she said hugging tighter I leaned down to Jonas he's too young to even realize what's going on I hold him tightly "bye my baby" "bye mommy" I let him go and left.

Luca's POV: we've been standing at the door for hours waiting for Lilly because Belle refuses to move "Baby she'll get here when she gets here" "I'm so nervous, I haven't seen her in years!" then there was a knock on the door "I'll get it" I said I opened it and saw Lilly she definitely hasn't changed "Lilly, it's wonderful to see you again" "I've missed you so much!" Belle said hugging her tightly "I've missed you too!" she said hugging back "I can't believe you guys are getting married!" "I know!" "she was hard to convince" I said "oh please you were practically begging me to marry you Luc" "show me the ring, when are you guys gonna have kids!?" "and that's my cue to get the fuck out of here" I said walking away "you have to see your dress Lill's" "show it to me!".
