"Faster, Cloudheart!! Faster!!!" Silentmist yelled. I swam faster. But, Streamfur was faster than me. I felt tired. I stopped and swam to the edge. I pulled myself from the lake and shook the water from my fur. Streamfur popped her head above the surface. She asked, "Giving up so soon, Cloudheart?" I shook my head. I turned around and grinned at her. "Absolutely not. I'd just rather spend my time meditating. Besides, we've been training since sunrise and the sun is setting." She nodded and climbed out of the lake. After shaking the water from her fur, she went to her den. Silentmist turned to me. She said, "If you can't beat Streamfur, how do you expect to swim away from someone whose after you? You gotta move faster, Cloudheart." She sighed in disappointment. "We'll begin again tomorrow at sunrise. Same as this morning. I expected better from you today." She walked away from me. I felt my blood boiling. I had worked hard today. I did everything she told me exactly the way she told me to. She didn't let me rest at all. I stomped away.
"Cloudheart, calm down!" Eclipsedream tried. I blocked him out entirely as I jumped from rock to rock, mumbling to myself on the cliffside. "Cloudheart, you'll fall if you keep doing that! Stop it, Cloudheart. Please, calm down!" He continued. I turned to him and growled. I yelled, "Who does she think she is?!" I continued jumping rock to rock. "I had been training hard from sunrise to sunset without rest!! Every day for 5 weeks!!! I can't beli-" My feet began to slide out from underneath me. I stumbled right off the cliff. I wasn't in my winged form and didn't have time to transform...
