My feet began to slide out from underneath me. I stumbled off the cliff. I wasn't in winged from and didn't have time to transform. The tip of my claw had just touched the water's surface, when I suddenly stopped. I was floating in mid-air. I flipped myself around. I looked up to see Honeypelt and Eclipsedream standing atop the cliff, looking back down at me. It was Honeypelt who had saved me with her telekinesis. But... How did she get there so fast? I waited for Honeypelt and Eclipsedream to come down to the river bank, still floating mid-air. When Honeypelt came into view, she dropped me into the water with a soft splash. I paddled to the bank. Honeypelt stepped back as I shook myself free of the water clinging to my fur. She growled, "Don't ever do that again! Falling from that height could have killed you!!" I sunk my head. "I don't know what we would have done without you! This pack needs you, Cloudheart!" She sounded concerned. I nodded my head. I locked eyes with her and thanked her.

Eclipsedream stopped in his tracks while we were headed back up to camp. He turned around and growled at the tree line, raising his tail. Honeypelt taking the same position. Out of the tree line, a pup dared step. She approached calmly and bravely, chin held high. But, she was skin and bones. I asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?" She stopped and motioned towards Honeypelt and Eclipsedream who were still growling at her. "Eclipse. Honeypelt. She's just a pup. Skin and bones. She is not here to do harm. Now, stop growling at her." They stopped, but Honeypelt kept her guard up. The pup came closer. She spoke, "I am one of Darkfire's messengers. He speaks of coming here within a year, when his army is built to destroy all of those who work against him. He'll be here to hurt you. And he'll be the one to win this time, Silentmist." She looked at me. Thinking that I was Silentmist. I replied, "We'll be ready. Tell him that we will ALL be ready!! And that him and all his men will be dead within minutes of the battle!" The messenger pup nodded. Her eyes lighting up.

She left as fast as she had arrived. Bounding out of view, like a graceful deer. Now, it was time to tell Silentmist. I knew she would start training everyone that much harder once she found out. This... is going to be a long year.
