So here's the thing folks. I'm usually a reserved person. I'm not quiet, but I do keep to myself. At times. Fine, sometimes. But that's because I'm more of an extrovert. But not really. I do like my alone time as well, but only sometimes. Does that make me an introvert then? Not really. Well, maybe. Confused yet? Yup, welcome to my freaky life. I'm what they call an ambivert. I'm a mix of these two. It depends on my mood really. I am what I am. Meh. Anyway, I drifted off. I need to focus. I usually do that; drift off during important events. Like take now for instance; sitting in a courtroom and watching two sisters fighting over child custody.

The whole gang was there to support June; Alex, Greg, Daisy (Greg's older sister), Daphne (Greg's wife), Mary, Seth and his partner Garry. June was wearing a floral white dress and was sitting next to her lawyer. She looked nervous and I don't blame her. It was a tense environment. On the other side was her sister Delilah who was seated next to her own lawyer. Delilah did not resemble her sister at all. Unlike June's blonde hair, Delilah had copper brown hair of a medium length. She was a bit darker than her sister and slightly on the heavier side. She was dressed in a long black dress that did not sit well with her skin tone. She looked tired but determined. The two sisters, I noticed, were avoiding eye contact.

"I would now like to call on the first witness, Maximum Murray Johnson," the lawyer representing June said.

Someone crucify me now. I promised June I would be her witness, but the court was packed; I'm talking over a hundred people! Don't get me wrong, I love being the center of attention, but this, I was not mentally prepared for this.

"Maximum Murray Johnson," the judge said, echoing June's lawyer, "over here."

Geez, calm down grandma, I'm coming. I stood up and wobbled across the court, my legs shaking as I took a seat at the stand.

"Please state your full name for the record," the lawyer said, clearing her throat.

"Maximum Murray Johnson," I said, sweating bullets.

I glanced at June from across the court. She gave me a nervous smile. You owe me big time sister.

"How would you describe your relationship with Ms. June Whetherby?" The lawyer asked.

"I'm June's best friend, er one of her best friends," I said, as I noticed Alex's scowl.

"And how long have you known her?"

"Um, let's see," I began. "Five, six years ago?"

"Are you asking me?" The lawyer said, a thin smile forming on her lips.

And that's when I really noticed her. Fuck she was hot. I couldn't help but stare at her slim figure; firm against the white shirt she wore; over it she had a light blue blazer that matched perfectly with her navy blue pants. Her black hair was neatly tied in a bun, and her eyes, my God, such beautiful eyes; they were kind and understanding. And the way she carried herself was astounding. Courageous and confident; good heavens, it was so fucking sexy. She was elegant, classy and professional. There was something about her that excited me.

"Uh, um, n-no," I said nervously.

"Then?" She asked, approaching me like a seductress.

"I-uh, I," I said, stumbling for words.

"Do I make you nervous Max?" she asked, standing in front of me.

"I-um..." Fuck, I was lost for words.

"Would this help?" She said, leaning down and taking my head in her hands. She planted a kiss on my lips. My God, such soft beautiful lips.

"B-but the others," I stammered, as she pulled away. I scanned the hundreds of eyes looking at us, including the judge herself. Oddly, they were all smiling.
